A place to chat about anything thats not football related. Most of the threads in here are completely pointless which is why people keep coming back and back. As the forum title suggests, feel free to make any post you want on any subject you wish. It also has Adult jokes (so be warned) which is the other reason people keep coming back.

For the record, your pub band didn't make the top 100
Still, most new wave acts were sh*t at actually playing

U2 were classified as a "New Wave" band in their early days, as they weren't hard enough to be punks
I thought they were ok, actually saw them live, "in a pub"

, when they were promoting the "Boy" album!
Since the Joshua Tree they've really gone down hill - just another pop band

i saw them at there very first gig as a support band in Hampstead the headliners were the Dolly Mixtures (who were dire, relying on looks only)
BOY wasn't even out then.
