I hear that he had a right go at the fans after he scored, any truth in this?

That's just a little OTT, I would hardly call Parkin saying "how do you f***ing like that" a right go!

Personally i'd have done the same thing if i'd have been in his boots

No one would have heard it because we were all celebrating the goal, you didn't need to be a lip reader to tell what he was saying though.

5 goals from 13 is pretty good going IMO - work that out over the course of the season and he should be around the 20 mark or there abouts!!!

Perhaps the hecklers need to start looking at other areas of the pitch to take their frustrations out!!! The guy can't produce miracles, but if we play his type of footy and actually create chances then there is a good chance he will score the goals we need!!!

yep i think everyone agrees with that, david johnson should of been a 50 goal a season player on the chances created for him, some games he couldnt hit a barn door.......i think parkin's strike rate in the team hes playing in is very good

For example central defence and midfield, both of which are slower than my grandma who is 93 with arthritis.

Out of the 5 of those goals I'm sure 4 of them were with his head.

Only 2 were with his head, Millwall and Brighton away I think.

3 out of 5 with his head and that is the weaker part of his game.

Must be devastating with his feet

i sit in the north and get so angry at the w*****s behind and near me who boo parkin constantly even before he is on the pitch. for all they know he could on come on the pitch and scored a hat-trick. when parkin came on against watford i tried my best to cheer as loudly as i could for him but the pathetic disloyal fans were booing. if they cant be bothered to support the team then they should f**k off and support the canaries.
