Reporting back from the game, that is the best I have seen us play all season (I dontr see every game so we mite have played better in other games i havent seen)
Midfield passed it around well, Parkin did well again, forster didnt get offside too many times so everything is improving.
If only Magilton didnt dither on the ball, we would have won that. Tho saying that, we had a lot of chances and if we could have just finished a few, we would have won!
Williams looked dangerous (or more so than other midfielders) going forward. And richards did well when came on!
Overall pleased with the performance, just lacked that finish which would have definately won it, but compared to the last game i saw vs Watford, a great improvement!

Hmmm dont agree with all what you said Vaughan8...
IMO, Parkin wernt that great. Won a few headers but should win more due to his height. Also some slack passes (1 near the edge of our box) nearly cost us the game.
Gotta agree about the chances and Williams. Grant (sp?) looked good going forward, he's first touch looks good and can beat the odd player!
IMO the defence where solid. They didnt look threating apart from when they where on the break.
Naylor and Sito for MOTM imo. Both where solid and saved us many times!!
What do ours think??
The Midfield did pass the ball well... when they tried that and didnt try the long ball game.Midfield passed it around well, Parkin did well again,

Yes Magic did dwell on the ball quite a bit, but i thought Currie did the same. Currie made some great little runs into space, but only to hold the ball up until every man was marked, which resulted the ball to move backwards...If only Magilton didnt dither on the ball, we would have won that

Back from the game and it was pretty crap really. The first half was a non event. It improved in the second half. i think Magic really is past his sell by date now. Had at least 1 excellent chance and dithered and was caught out alot of times. You can see he really wants to make it to the ball first but he just cant anymore.
Williams was excelent today , He is like a faster darren currie that can tackle
Westy and Richards showed what we have been missing , a bit of pace and a willingness to run at defenders. Imo Our best midfield at present is
Westlake , Williams, Juan, Richards.

I have been reading the other posts and wondered if I went to the wrong game. I agree with you entirely.

Dawn? I'm afraid we are still in complete darkness!!!bluebird wrote:Will this be the start of a sustained promotion push, or another false dawn???
COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah we might have dominated possession but to put it bluntly Coventry were absolute crap and I suspect most championship teams would have beaten them yesterday. Williams did look good but you can't always judge that as most people do compared to the majority of our lot.
