Okay the attendance was pretty good last night i.e. 22000 plus..

But wonder how many fans were left in the ground still sitting
and watching with 5 minutes plus injury time to go..

Looked like about 8 - 10000...

Joe Royle blames us you know, for not getting behind them. They need reminding that we pay to be entertained, and last night was just about as far removed from entertainment as you gan get!

Those of us that were still there at the end, either deserve a medal or should see a shrink!

It was funny towards the end with all the funny songs we were singing...

"sheepshanks, give us a wave"

"stand up if you hate the band"

... lol

That was the highlight of my evening mate. That and the ole cheers whenever we strung ONE pass together.

I left when the third goal went in, what made it worse is I had to drive BACK to Reading.

I stopped at South Mimms services and there was a bloke in a Reading shirt, I felt physically sick when I got out with my Ipswich shirt on :(

Call me what you like, but i had to be at Heathrow at 0500 the next morning, and was doing about 70 down the A12 near the Hadleigh/East Bergholt turn-off when the final whistle went!! I was intending to leave at 85 anyway but when the third one went in i thought why wait? I wasn't one of those 8-10000 for sure!

I always put a bet on the last goal scorer. Then it kind of makes it worth while to stay till the end.
