Well if Warnock goes to Pompey...then Sheff Utd will be needing a new manager.......

Doubt it'll be Joe though! He's already said that this would be the last club he manages....

well sheffield Utd could take their pick from two other Ipswich managers ...namely Sir Bobby Robson or George Burley...I doubt very much that Joe would go to Sheffield - too much "hassle factor" - he has a relatively easy life at PR in all honesty guys !

Not so sure about that HB. I think he probably feels frustrated at every turn. Even if he has always had his eyes wide open.

I would have though that any manager in the Champ would love to manage a side who have got some cash, a strong squad and well into the season are in the top two.

Perhaps he would like a crack at the prem for a year before he retires, wouldn't you ?

To quote a guy on TWTD, Can we start a rumour that Sheff Utd want Joe to take over from Warnock? We'll have to say how fantastic he is, and that we'd be gutted to see him go, otherwise Sheff Utd might not fall for it ... :lol:

the thing is, he probably would do a fantastic job there, because he will have money to spend and a confident team to manage, those are just 2 examples of advantages over our mess at the moment.

good point ! and it underlines why JR is not doing well here now - he has very little in the way of mid twenties experience / qaulity to work with.

"Silk purse" & "sows ear" comes to mind just now ....!! :wink:
