The pressures mounting....

Post by ippers » Mon Nov 28, 2005 5:51 pm

Fair enough we played with decent committment tonight but at the end of the day we lost because despite drawing level with 2 minutes to go we stillcant defend  great tactical move to bring Currie on as well. Jim adn De vos are simply past it, and I dont give a damn if we are a man down there was no excuse for the lack of marking the amount of times I saw 3 or 4 players marking fresh air, the probable defeat to Wolves will see the fans starting to lose faith in Royle imo

Hopefully its for the right reasons though, the fact that we're not playing our youngsters.

And not because we're losing, because simply, we're sh*t. The old gits are and the youngers are (although they'll get better with time - A LOT OF IT!)

think its more negativity of his tactics. i know that annoys me... i was screaming at the tv to get some one on to support fozzie, but hes just soo arogent n doesnt change a thing.

however, why he brung Horlock on who cant defend or simple, mark is shocking!!! again i would make the team watch a clip of some of the defending for the goals today!! time after time we give simple balls away!! just put your foot through it n launch it!!!! plzzzzzz its not rocket sceince!!

That baffled me too, Currie cant defend, never has and never will. Billy Clarke must've been on such a high after his run resulted in a free kick, then gets substituted to try and hold for the draw. I would've thought we'd have stuck at it and pushed for a winner, or if need be drop forster back.

Some might say it was a good performance, but we've lost, simple as.

budgiebasher after going down to 10 men very early on and with a good performance from price to hold them to 1.0 till late on, then joe makes a good sub to bring on clarke with his youth and willingness to get after them we score a good free kick surely joe blew it for us tonite with a stupid decision to sub the player who got the chance in the first place, we should have kept with what we had they looked shaken, to make that sub only gave them the upper hand as everyone knows town can really defend as a unit cant they. by the way its not a dig at you i just thought we werent doing to bad till that poxy decision from joe christ why make that change at that time in the game for me it unbalanced us and was football suicide p*ss poor decision joe

Thats where Joe went wrong. He has the inability to see that as an attacking side there is a possility we MAY WIN..
