Derek Bowden and BFJ had a blazing row last week. Bowden told Joe to stop moaning, and make the players realise they are good enough for a play off spot! Rather than keep going on about losing his best players.
Apparently, it got quite heated and Bowden told Royle a few home truths, including that his performance as a manager this season wasn't good enough
Royle, told him that he wouldn't be driven out the club, that if they wanted rid of him, to find the money to pay up his contract!
Dismiss this as bollocks if you wish, but I have a source

Oh sod it ! ...IF this is true BB - we are now in for a load of strife IMHO - with a less than interested Joe - and we cant afford to pay him off - and his heart will is obviously not in it anymore ..(some of which I cant say I blame him actually ) ...the signs of discontent may already be evident !

I would have guessed its bollocks, but it does have the ring of truth in it. Wouldn't be surprised, put it like that. And I'm on Bowdens side.
Fact is, too many of the players, coaching staff and obviously the manager, are understandably f*cked up over throwing away a gold plated chance for promotion last season. Only way over it is to replace em it would seem.

I am 99% certain that it is HB, and to make things worse, Bowden and Sheepy have had words on the subject too!
All is not well at Ipswich Town Football Club

TOTAL BOLLOCKS
It's propbably started by scum fans to take the heat off Worthy
Remember what happened 4 years ago, Stewarts jaw injury was caused by Reuser because he found out that Marcus was shagging his wife, blah blah blah.

You'd have noted only five digits on each then, a tad hairy, but other than that everything where is should be!

Scary if true. I was concerned by descriptions of JR's lack of interest and passion during the Reading match. That behavior was public and should have been addressed by management.

If it is true then its nice to see some passion in the corridors of PR. If some of that can transfer onto the pitch then there might be more light at the end of the tunnel.
I hope its true, can't these guys disagree between themselves sometimes ? It's good to clear the air.

Good to clear the air is one thing DB - but if this is true and JR really has lost interest in the team then we are screwed!!! Another sheepy error for tying him down to a big contract!!
Hopefully Southampton will now sign him and relieve us of a manager who is merely seeing out his time in football.
If this is true then JR is answerable to Bowden who is in essence his boss. Bowden runs the whole ship financially and he is in control of this club. JR has been inept this season and so have the players - this is JR's responsibility. In the real world it wouldn't matter what contract you were signed up to - if you underperformed you would be shipped out - no question!!!
It is about time a taste of real world hit the over inflated ego's of some of ITFC's mangement and players!!

Maybe Bowden has decided someone needs to have some bollocks at PR?
Its just a shame that all parties concerned know that we can't afford to pay up his contract.

As I read it Mole, nothing in the quote tells me that JR has lost interest in the team. He was criticised (allegedly) and responded in the way he thought appropriate.
Sounds like handbags to me. Still if its true its good to see that those that should be feeling stess are, including JR, since his (alleged) response wasn't, I suspect, one that he would have wished to make.
