I agree with you Ash. No way in hell should the WC go to Qatar. And England should have got the nod over Russia. He stalled on goal line replays. Blatter is trying to polticize football. No way in hell Qatar should get the Cup! WC should be reserved for football nations. Triple 20, your throw.

When I saw darts mentioned I thought we were going to be treated to rendition of "its raining". But seeing that picture would still have me reacing for a set of arrows.

It was an asinine decision right off the bat that was void of logic although Russia was a more rational decision. You got some adequate stadia and a final event in Moscow would be good enough.number 9 wrote:I agree with you Ash. No way in hell should the WC go to Qatar. The English held the European Championships as recently as 1996 so that's one reason why they may have been overlooked. I think Spain again (last witnessed '82) would've been a good pick, but not in favor of co-hosts as we have seen in recent years. I.E. Japan / Korea. I think a single nation works best for events of this nature.

The only way football is going to move forward if he goes but no one is able to stand up against him.
He seems to have a hold over most footballing nations who keep reappointing him .
How long did it take him to bring in the modern day goal line technology ? Years .
