What's your take on him, he didn't fit in with MM at Ipswich. we are looking at signing him.

I remember being very impressed with Massimo Luongo in his short time with us. He was composed in possession and had a good range of passing. He obviously has some pedigree, having been with Tottenham, and could prove to be a good signing if he ends up at Molineux.

I liked the look of him, he looked like he understood the game very well for a youngster and had solid technique, he was just a bit young and lightweight when he was here I guess, and you couldn't have two 20 year olds being the core of your midfield with Hyam getting game time. No idea how he's got on at Swindon, but stats look good, would enjoy seeing him play again.

He was very skillful from memory. Whether he'd cope with the rough necks on a weekly basis that the Championship throws up, is another matter.

I thought the first couple of games he played for us he did ok but he seemed to fade all too quickly and I do wonder if he has what it takes to play at this level, as Hallam says the rough side of this division could be too much for him.

Opinion only, it looks to me that League One is just as rough, (maybe even more rough) than the Championship. But that opinion is based purely on The Football League Show, which is on so late in Scotland, I'm wasted while watching it. Probably best just ignoring this post, Wolfie.

Two points of order.

1. The FLShow us also on so bloody late, i rarely bother to stay up for it.
2. Aren't you wasted most Saturdays marko? x

An Aussie Wolf views.

Danno_ in _Os

He has been a stand out for Australia in the Asian cup. Tricky, runs at people, nice short passing. Just got back from watching the semi final, thought it was his worst game, but heard on the radio that he was MOTM (so what do I know ). But for me he has been a revelation and I hope he goes on to have a long international career. I think tonight fatigue was setting in for most of the players on both sides.

The guy with the afro for UAE (Omar Abdulrahman) was a class above everyone on the pitch today. Can't believe he isn't playing in Europe but he must be on a good wedge in the UAE. Guess it comes down to how much a player wants to test themselves or they rather just make a good living without extending themselves. Apparently trialed at Man City but I think work permit issues at the time. I reckon a few clubs will be watching him in this comp.

Matt Mackay came on as sub for the Aussies and seemed to be yards quicker in thought than anyone other than Omar. I think he could do OK in England but at 32 he has probably missed his chance.

Swindon reported to have turned down a £2m bid for him this morning from an unnamed Turkish Club.

Sevilla also appear to have made an enquiry but no mention of a bid from Wolves?

You'd think the Turkish Club would give themselves a name, FFS! What's written on the club's scarves?

I bet he's "Delight"ed he's not going to Turkish Club FC.

Have a look at this list of World tyrants.

Adolf Hitler
Caligula
Pol Pot
Joseph Stalin
Kim Jong Il
Massimo Luongo
Robert Mugabi
Ghengis Khan
Ivan the Terrible
Pinochet
Saddam Hussein

Some scary names in that lot.

yeah its all gone quiet on him. interest seems to have moved on to..

Manchester United youngster Jesse Lingard has been linked to the club. A player who can play in a variety of attacking roles and has shown he has the ability at this level would be a very astute signing.

Sako is back early so probably wont happen unless Sako is sold :?
