Even twice the noise our near 2000 fans made at Rotherham last week wouldn't add up to much. We really do need some "fan leadership", whatever that might look like.

Hope the atmosphere is as good as it was at Millwall.

We have never had the noisiest of support.

Was talking about this to somebody the other week and they were saying what a great trip Milan was when we took over 10,000. I said even though the numbers were great I thought the atmosphere in Helsingborg was way better with far less support. Will never forget Harrys Bar, the place was absolutely heaving.

The thing is Shed we seem to be great in the bars pre-match but as soon as we get to the ground it all fizzles out.

I've always thought one of our best atmospheres created away was at Highbury for the FA Cup Semi-Final v WBA, and of course the Cup Final itself at Wembley was also pretty special.

There were some very good away fan performances in the Robson years, but to be fair who wouldn't have been inspired by some of the performances through his era.

What I have also noticed is inside the ground often our supporters are singing two different songs at the same time. This often happens in the SBR lower at home games. Must be a Suffolk thing.

Agree that the atmosphere against West Brom at Highbury was special, imo probably better than the final.

Certainly the atmosphere in the closing stages and after the final whistle was mind blowing, the reality of making it to the final against all odds was amazing, and I think you're right Shed, it was better than the final probably because we were more compact.

Talking about making more noise in the bars before the game...Any particular pub the 4,000 are thinking of heading to tomorrow?

The Eight Bells would be pretty good Jamma but will struggle to take 4000  , if you don't mind a walk you could cross the bridge towards Putney but you'll have a 20 min walk to the ground.

The Crab Tree or Eight Bells is popular with away teams and has received favorable reviews from most away fans. Be sure to bring a large wallet to the game as Fulham don't hold back on prices.

4000 would be a fine number of (our) support and could maybe represent a quarter of the attendance on the day.

Thanks for the advice re: pubs, everyone. The Crabtree was one of our options so I look forward to seeing as many of the 4,000 as possible there! :)

We went to the crab Tree, it was packed but not too many Town fans there as it was the other side of the stadium and a 25 min walk from the station so i guess most decided to stay nearer the station but to be honest the eight bells was tiny.
