Richard Chaplow training with Town **LOAN MOVE COMPLETED **

Post by hallamblue » Mon Feb 16, 2015 4:51 pm

With a view to loan signing apparently.

Cant see the point in this at all. Hes hardly played any games for Millwall. So not even match fit.

It's only a name I can barely recognize. Did a little research (and) if people say he's garbage then perhaps it's all we need to know. I'd rather look into the Murray situation as it would appear a much better alternative.

Why do Millwall want to loan him out anyway. Guess that maybe tells you something. Appears they have other players that can do a job without him.

Yeah I'm really not a fan of these championship lateral loans. I know we've been lucky with a few, but it remains to be seen if there's a lasting effect. Besides, if he's not even making the bench for Millwall??? Come on MM!...get ur finger out...we need to turn up the gas!

With any other manager I'd be disappointed with this, but Mick has a habit of making these signings really work so I've pretty much learned to trust his judgement on any player. Besides, I still don't think we badly need to sign anyone so not too fussed really.

Exactly. Good old MM. Remember tyrone who? He turned out ok, mr dyer said he was the the worst player he had ever seen train at PR and hes doing well now. Super Mick knows what hes doing.

...But Mings was a teenager when he arrived at Ipswich, Richard Chaplow is 30 and what we sign is probably the finished article, not a young player who MM can shape. His pedigree doesn't look rubbish but likewise it doesn't look better than what we already have.

Hoping it wont come to anything. throughout the season lots of players without Clubs come and train with us hoping to be picked up. I think Mick and TC know exactly what they are doing.

Doesnt look like Joniesta can return anywsy, as he is still about a month off full fitness, but primarily because he will exceed his number of loan days allowable eg 93 days.

You seem to have an issue with the Irish connection which has taken us to our best league placing for years.

How can you have an issue with something that's worked in our best interests.

Looks as if Luke Varney, prolific Blackburn striker, might be coming our way

...but, if true, have to trust MM's judgement. (Last night both Ince and Bent scored for Derby.....if only etc).

The same Derby that have failed to win the last Three games and who have surrendered four points to us in little over a week ?? must be turning into a crisis surely ? It was for some when we went Three without a win.

I do wonder if there is going to be a club that will take this league by the scruff of the neck and win it convincingly. No one seems to (traditionally) really want it this season. Not to sound too Captain Obvious-ish, but really hope ITFC can go on a long winning streak sometime soon, before someone else does. COYB.

LOL! Not much, mate.

Actually just walking through the lingerie section at Next ............. Usually gets me lifted, to be honest. Especially when I was only supposed to be there for cushion covers from the "Home" section.

Apologies to thread police...... Forgot what the fkn thread was even about.
