Their second goal looked a right mess up with Mings playing the ball onto Grabban. Jerome looked threatening as soon as he came on.

For me Norwich looked a far better balanced side and had much more pace and width. Even more important they played with confidence and looked reasonably in control. I think we have the makings of a decent team but in my opinion McCarthy needs to know his best starting eleven especially his midfield which he seems to be constantly changing.

I suppose they can "blue tint" it all they want......, it was poor. Can't take anything away from Johnsons finish, they normally hit row z, but the lad done well.

Just worried that Wolves are on the march and ITFC down to 6th. HOPEFULLY, Mick can lift these "try-ers" up.

Do we have a M/F ..!!!...Hoofball becoming very grating now , surely MM can see this as it seems must supporters can.! , felt sorry for Murphs and Sears had bugger all service , Mings & Smith not good again and Skuse was also absent today...for a Derby it was utter sh*te.!!

Hopefully push on a bit from here and make the top 6 spot safe. Tops six success anything other than that it will be an also ran season..!!..imo..as despite a difference in position, as over all our football in the main has not been good to watch if honest and it is starting to really p*ss me off , with MM playing the likes of Tabb , Anderson and to a lesser degree Skuse , Smith when we have players that could step in , Parr being the main one but Stewart and Ambrose also raises questions..and no this is not a Derby deafeat reaction..I really think MM really needs to look at who he plays and where and our style or lack there of ... ..of play !!

Nope, no midfield. It's crap. Hence the long ball which equally isn't working. We've reverted to that recently just we'vre playing worse teams than norwich

Jack and no.9 .........
I never mentioned our league position. I was talking about todays performance. Yes we are only 5 points off top which is awsome, however, our recent form is slipping. We are getting results here and there but i feel we will soon slip out of playoff places.

There is one massive positive if you think about it. If they want play offs, (or even promotion which is f**king no chance IMO) then they cannot play any worse than today. So in reality, it can only get better. That's a huge positive.

As a town fan down on the south coast I'm not the best qualified to speak - I've seen a couple of away games and caught them on TV when I can - but here's my opinion. We're a good - not great - championship side. We've got a decent manager, a good team spirit and a talismanic striker having the season of his career. But we lack depth, flair and strength in the middle of the park and our central defence is flawed. In mid Bishop is too young and the others are journeymen - too average to really take this division by storm.
However we should make the playoffs. We have a must win game with Brentford coming up and need to pick up stubborn points at Leeds, Boro and Watford (I'll be at that one). Sad as it is to say, Norwich were too good for us today but it's not over not by any means. COYB!

Sorry No1, 5 points off the top is not awesome, it's just plain bloody lucky with rubbish we have played in some of our recent matches.

Granted billy, maybe just a little bit awsome?? I would have taken this at start of season. The hard thing to take is the missed oppotunities to push on. Actually thinking about it our position is awsome compared to blackpool. Its all just very frustrating. Worst thing i cant take is the negative team selection from MM when we have players who can play in wide oositions and run and create but dont even get in squad. Also whats craplow all about? Come from millwall and leapfrogs others into first team. Just dont get it im afraid
