I suspect they'll throw money at it and sign another striker probably by the weekend. Their biggest problem will be finding one so readily available and I'm pretty sure Chris Wood would have been on their shopping list had he not signed for us.

It may have been brief but Wood looked like a poor mans Holt.

If Wood scores for us with anywhere near the goals to games played ratio that Holt did for Norwich I'd happily take that.

I must admit when he came on for the last ten minutes on Sunday he looked a lot heavier than when I last watched him play. Hopefully it won't be too difficult to shift.

I guess that's what happens to footballers who don't play football, especially one who loses his place for personal reasons. Let's hope he has a point to prove and gets fit quickly.

If not he could prove to be another rubbish signing.
