WHO AM I. QUIZ

A place to chat about anything thats not football related. Most of the threads in here are completely pointless which is why people keep coming back and back. As the forum title suggests, feel free to make any post you want on any subject you wish. It also has Adult jokes (so be warned) which is the other reason people keep coming back.

Are "asking" clues allowed? For example....., can I ask if it's indeed a soccer player?

Let's simplify things

This is a Goalkeeper

- who has participated in previous World Cup tournaments

This is not above giving the answer away now

“back in the USSR, And Ringo said “there's a song there i think”

...............................................................................................

OK New Question, try and take this one serious Saint

I played at Wembley in an FA CUP Final, the same year as I played at Hamden Park in the SCOTTISH FA CUP FINAL
I Played the next year in the EUROPEAN CUP FINAL at Wembley.

Wasn't aware of the other response, I guessed it was Gerd Muller

If I hadn't supplied the relevant position of play this would have gone on until Thanksgiving.

Yashin was of course - the greatest goalkeeper that ever played. And you got to go some to be ahead of names such as Banks, Southall, Clemence, Buffon, Oliver Khan, Shilton etc. Should have been honored with a World Cup winners medal but was edged out by West Germany in '66

cant disagree Saint, I was lucky enough to see him play once, those type of players have long gone now, when you see the actors/players of today you wonder how much he would be worth in the transfer market.

do you remember the old terrace song with Yashin

I.I.I...I Phil Parks is better than Yashin
Dougan is better than Eusebio
and the Albion are in for a thrashing

shows my age aye :?

I take them all seriously

Rupert Bear was sarcastic humor.

I've seen the above many times but can't recall right now who it is. I believe it was during the 1970s but not 100 per cent.

I'll give it some thought
