Not At All Worried

Post by The Odious Mr Rossi » Mon Apr 27, 2015 1:02 pm

I very rarely predict results as I'm usually so bad at it.
But I have to say that I've never been as confident about a result as I am about next Saturday.
We will go to Blackburn and we will win - simple as.
That way, we ensure finishing 5th which in turn means that our play-off legs will be played on a Saturday, rather than Friday night legs should we finish 6th (unless Naaarwich finish 3rd, in which case I believe that at the request of the Naarwich/Ipswich police the 3rd vs 6th legs will be swapped with the 4th vs 5th legs).
It's been a difficult few weeks since the turn of the year, but I firmly believe that we can and will do it.

Definitely more refreshing reading these sorts of posts during the run in to a big game. But must ask Rossi, ........, the confidence, (some may interpret as slightly over confident) ..... where is it coming from? Are you predominantly a very confident person anyway, or is there "something" about this fixture that has the win nailed on for you?

I can't really explain it Marko - it's just a really strong feeling I have inside me

I'd be happy to have ur confidence rossi. ...long way to go to end up disappointed. But I'll be singing my head off nonetheless.

I wish I was confident. I'm mainly anxious with a dash of hopeful.

Rossi, I love the post but the bit at the beginning of it really worries me LOL. " I very rarely predict results as I'm usually so bad at it."

I'm pretending I didn't read Rossi's post!

I suppose for every - and welcome - optimist, there's a bunch of nervous bunnies out there daring to hope, but not quite believing the Gods will be kind to us. They/we bear the scars of previous Town life or death encounters with fate going back many years.

Of course we can do it......but will we???? YES, YES! YES! I've suddenly developed great faith in Rossi's gut feelings!

Going to be wearing my Ipswich fleece all week. Nerves starting to build, still confident of at least a draw

I'm not at all worried about this damn game either, as have greater concerns at the moment. Seriously hold no trepidation about this upcoming fixture. Confident the team will gain the point that's required and that will be that. The greater worry is about potential play-off opponents and the obvious ones to avoid.
