well done town.

Post by Floors » Sat May 16, 2015 6:10 pm

We lost I know, but we can all hold our heads up with a Great deal of pride. The budgies, tossers they may Be, still have a near Premier League sqaud and all their millions in parachute payments. But they still needed us, with our £10000 sqaud to go down to 10 men to beat us.

Well done all involved at ITFC, fans included, for a cracking and thoughly exciting season, I for one cant wait for next season to start now.

Scum have flattered to deceive all season, with their multi million pound squad. They really are quite ordinary. Suspect Middlesbrough will beat them again.

Every Town fan can be proud of our lads. Our fans once again outsung those plastic inbreds. What a pathetic bunch of tossas they are.

I will say also, the fans were absolutely fantastic! At times on TV, ipswich supporters just as loud as theirs.

Unfortunately I have disagree Hallam.

Norwich aren't ordinary. To me the play off tie resembled a bottom 3rd Prem team playing a tenacious team that just scraped into the playoffs.

That's not a criticism of Town but a realistic description of the Canaries.

Still gutted about yesterday, but what a great season it's been and I'm even more optimistic about next season. If we had the sort of money that Norwich have spent on their team, my god we would walk this hell hole.

Next season lads, we will get there!

Well said, ATB and absolutely spot on.

There are arguably hundreds on this site who probably think the same, but just can't be arsed to say it as people "see it" as criticism. It is not.

I think NCFC, after Alex Neil took over, stopped "flattering to deceive" and started playing a brand of football that will no doubt take them to the EPL.

Huge Boro fan on Monday though.

We gave them two games and in the end couldn't find enough to progress. Yes ok they've got a decent squad right now and should start as favorites for the 'Boro match. Their new manager came in and proved the difference. Will they be a force in the EPL if they make it back or even survive one season ? First they have one more game to win and then over enough time the question can be answered.

It's funny you got two teams contesting a play-off final with 100 + years history - and only a League Cup win to show for it all. Guess they'll be finely matched.
