Or as another Town fan has said.......
"Knudsen, Berra, Smith, Chambers, Parr and Malarczyk plus Emmanuel, Kendrick, Yowerth and Clarke coming through.
Skuse, Bru, Bishop, Douglas and Coke plus AMN, Fraser, Oar and Toure wide, with McDonnell, Benyu, Connelly, Dozzell and Fowler coming through.
Then we have Didz, Murphy, Sears and Pitman up front, plus Alabi.
Jesus bloody Christ.
Plus we also have Tabby. He's fantastic.
I cannot begin to fathom how good McCarthy is to have assembled this team (with Evans support) for the budget he has when you look at the money being splashed out elsewhere.
We could play any combination of 4 from 6 defenders, 4 from 9 midfielders and 2 from 4 forwards and have an exceptional side at this level. We have so many talented kids coming through.
Top. Man Utd away coming up. Money in the bank still no doubt.
Outrageous.

Careful when you say that Hallam, you know people like to slag him off, even thought he was 3rd in the player of the year!

That really is a impressive list when you look at it with the quality in there as well (yes a few were unknown - to us at least) When you think what Derby and M.borough have spent . ME , Milne & MM really have done wonders on the transfer front , hopefully it all bears fruit and we stay right up there...play off,s would be a good season again...anything else would be bloody fantastic and a real achievement.

Yip. I kept saying clergy was the main issue and not Jewellery. Although his "network" was next to zilch. ....and Keane, well don't get me started .

Christ knows how he kept the Oar deal so quiet. This is undoubtedly the best squad we've had in years, trying really hard not to get too confident.

That is indeed some impressive reading, such good business for little outlay and when you look at the youngsters coming through Kenlock, Emmanuel, Clarke, Bishop, Fowler, Robinson, Benyu, Hammond, Dozzell, the list goes on and on, we have to be thankful for Bryan Klug, the best in the business who thankfully was brought back to the club after that utter f**king tosspot Keane shipped him out. This is our time again.

To be fair BlueMike, if my memory serves me well, Klug wasn't shipped out by Keane but got a great offer from Spurs. Could have got that wrong though....

BRYAN Klug says he delighted to have been given the chance to return to Ipswich Town.
The 51-year-old was controversially sacked two-and-half years ago during the managerial reign of Roy Keane.
However, Blues boss Paul Jewell and Simon Clegg have worked hard to personally persuade him to return to the club to take up the role of academy director.
Klug – who has remained living in Ipswich throughout his recent time as player development coach at Tottenham – said: “Everyone knows that Ipswich Town has been a big part of my life.
Long-serving Town coach Bryan Klug has been sacked. Klug, a one-time Blues youth player and academy director, was assistant manager under Jim Magilton until John Gorman’s appointment last Christmas when he moved into a head of football development role, before taking charge of the reserves this season.
Klug was a youth player with the Blues between 1977 and 1983 but failed to make a senior appearance, moving on to Wimbledon (loan), Chesterfield and Peterborough United and then into non-league football.
The 49-year-old returned to Portman Road in 1987, joining the coaching staff and in 1998 became the director of the newly formed academy in an era during which Kieron Dyer, Richard Wright, Titus Bramble and others emerged.
In 2005 Klug, who also had spells as caretaker-manager of the Blues, led the academy to Town’s third FA Youth Cup before becoming Jim Magilton’s assistant a year later, shortly after Newcastle United had approached him to run their academy.
Manager Roy Keane recently added former Notts County manager Ian McParland to his backroom team and with assistant manager Tony Loughlan, specialist skills coach Steve Foley, fitness coaches Antonio Gomez and Simon Thadani and goalkeeper coach James Hollman also on the payroll may have felt his staff needed trimming.

My apologies, I was wrong. I'm giving credit to PJ & SC for bringing him back. They don't get much credit so they could do with a little more
