Well the nearest to the train station is the Railway Tavern which is right outside the station, but that is generally regarded as the away fans pub. About a 10 minute walk from there gets you to cardinal Park where the Punch & Judy is, equally you can get to the football ground as quick where you have the Drum & Monkey just behind the ground, this is probably the more vociferous pub with Town fans.

I'll prob leave it to bro in law..he prob has a preference.
