In perspective time

Town sit 10th with 21pts, at this stage last season we had 24pts. But if you look at the league table, we have played 7 of the 9 teams above us. Surely that tells a few of the doom and gloom merchants that things are not that bad? :)

Its all about managing expectations in my opinion. Being realistic, we are a top mid table team at the moment. With zero investment in the squad we are lucky to be sitting where we are. Yes, I agree performances have not been brilliant recently, but every team goes through dips, troughs, poor form etc.

I don't see ITFC getting promoted this year, and in all honesty I am not really sure if the promised land is all that fantastic (another discussion) , but all I ask is for us to be competing at the right end of the table. I think over the past 2 years we have been generally doing that, with the occasional hiccup. But that's what makes it all the more exciting when we do go on a little run of form.

Without the salt, the sugar don't taste as sweet :-)

Well said Nic, like you I am not keen on the Premier League at all in any case, yes I want us to get there for financial reasons but the whole bloody set up is dross and way overhyped.
