I’m old enough to remember the vote to go in it, i can honestly say i did’nt know one person who voted yes to join. And as you say regardless of the vote we will stay in. Staying in keeps all those failed politicians and their families in jobs which cost us Billions.
My take on it is, you either join 100% with no ifs and buts, no negotiating for bits we like,
Or walk away and get our once Great country back,
Hallamblue, your views are spot on my friend and look up who paid for Obama's trip over here to spout his trash,

That was around your 21st birthday, wasn't it? :)

Ha ha, was it in 1979? I honestly cant recall ever having to vote, and if it was when I was 21 I would have been able to vote, but cant remember there being one.

We last voted in 1975 and sadly I was old enough to have a vote.

I voted against it then and I shall do so again.

On that occasion around 67% of the turnout voted to remain. Whilst some polls currently indicate a 5 point lead for the 'in' campaign, I think it's final outcome is far from in the bag. It's the 'old and bold' who are most likely get out and vote, and possibly determine the final outcome. (Lots of them Victor Meldrews in outlook!)

Another interesting little nugget, is that officials employed by EU agencies don't pay national income tax; rather, a rate of around 20% on their earnings. So, those on big bucks, who would normally be liable fo the higher rate here, are very happy bunnies. Nice work if you can get it!

Finally, I wonder whether we have the quality of politicians able to operate without the EU safety net to cling to? A brexit vote would let us know the answer: come on, let's take the risk!

For the good of the young un's I'll vote to stay in as I don't know any young ones who want to come out of the EU.

I'm far from certain it's the right call but don't trust our politicians to bring everything back under home rule within any reasonable timescales, or begin to imagine how many more civil servants would be employed on huge salaries in the process.

For me the future has to be staying in and continuing to negotiate reforms, as I think an appetite exists within the hierarchy of the EU to give back more controls to individual member nations.

Will be in France on the day of the referendum and therefore have applied for a postal vote.
Voted not to join before and will definitely be voting to leave on this occasion.

We're off to Spain for 12 weeks from tomorrow so won't be voting at all, but on the basis me and the missus cancel one another out there was little point us voting anyway. I can't be arsed to convince her to stay in and vice versa.

Don't be capsizing that barge if England score in the Euros!

There's something I didn't think of........ If the country votes out, is that the Uk countries out of Euro qualifications? Back to Home Internationals where my lot get feckin spanked every tournament? Aw well, I never liked change anyway!

It would certainly get rid of loads of European players from British football who would no longer qualify to enter or work in the country. Not that it would make a jot of difference at Portman Road although it could have a massive impact on the Premier League.

It was my first vote Liz, and I voted not to join. When the referendum this year was announced, my first thought was that I would vote to leave - that was until I saw the effect the announcement had on the strength of the pound. Whatever are the other arguments about staying or leaving, I do not think the country as a whole would do well if the pound stays this low.

Markets are always volitile (spl?) But even if it did affect the £, things would settle again. We are a strong trading Nation and I cant see that changing, in fact I could see us beinb able to access more markets with tge shackles of the EU.
