thank God for that. That's another decent side out of this division.
Mind you their level of support is truly shocking. It just goes to show being in PL is not about being a supposedly "Big club", but more about the level of spending and parachute money you have to play with.

Re: 'Ull promoted then
Took nearly all of my time to comprehend the team in question was Hull City. If had to favor a winner today it would have been Sheffield Wednesday. Hull have been up and down the leagues more times than freakin' Norwich in recent seasons, news such as this would appear not above mundane.
At least with the other it's been some 15 years + since they were last an EPL team if correct so would have made for a fresh alternative, but you can't pick and choose who gets to win. Would have been interesting if Sheffield had won then Steve Bruce may just have decided to leave the opposition and take another challenge elsewhere, but guess he'll be staying on (another year) for their endeavors at a higher level.

They don't say the "H" in ' Ull, but pronounce it as " 'Ull "
Today's game was a 1-0 stuffing to be fair to them. Sheffield Weds played their part but it was clear who had the better players. Just glad we won't be meeting them next season. I doubt Sheffield Weds will be in the top 6 next season.

It's 'Ull Tigers. That's their real real name, Hallam.

'Ull were the best team I saw last term, both home and away, so no issues with their return to PL after one season out. Cracking goal won the match, and SW didn't really lay a glove on a strong, well organised 'Ull side, whose parashite payments will presumably now stop! Having come so close to a potential £200M bonus, will be interesting to see what signings Shef Wed's wealthy and ambitious owner funds in the coming weeks.
(We'll know later today who will be joining our happy Cship brotherhood from Div 1).

I am pleased they have gone up, we never seem to do well against them where as I love my trips to Hillsborough and we invaribaly get something against them.
