Is it right Wolves are about to be as rich , if not richer than Man City, due to a take over, G&B?

well if this takeover does happen we will be owned by a Robin Li instead of a Robin Scouser lolhallamblue wrote:Is it right Wolves are about to be as rich , if not richer than Man City, due to a take over, G&B?

You can't go wrong with Robin b*stard, Wolfie....., is he interested?
Let's hope Robin Li doesn't want to change the infamous Gold & Black into red and white stripes, and rename to Wolverhampton Wandering Wolverines City.

that's my fear mate, we lose our identity......probably changing Molineux to " number 46 with rice" I heard there's talk of changing our colours to green and white.

Does Mr Li know Marcus Evans by any chance G&B? If not, would he like to? There might be an alternative deal to be done, if yours doesn't fly!

apparently he is buying out AC Milan as well. so they would be our reserves lol. the only plus I can see is we could stuff WBA again and put them back in our wake..

Need to be careful though, Wolfie because he's also the absent owner...... Always on holiday with his best mate, Mr Lo......., both of them, floating around the pool, drinking beer.

Excellent! Don't forget ME can get very good deals on high-profile events - his prowess as a high end ticket tout keeps us ticking along! Your aspirations to get WBA in their rightful place, match ours for those arrogant Budgies up the road! The alternative to Mr Li, is a consortium of, an old rock star, an old rock band, a formula One female commentator, and an Irish International striker (ex Wolves player). All from Wolvo with probably around £1-3s- 6d to invest. I would go for the local Wolvo legends who we can trust to have Wolves as their main concern.
Remembering Portsmouth, Leeds etc. Puts that big doubt in any foreign investment.
PS. Marco I know Dublin is not in Wolverhampton before the maps come out

Re: Watch this space.
I hope it works out for you John but this Guangchang character sounds iffy to say the least. We have a lot of negative stuff bandied about regarding our owner but if this goes tits up it could be far more serious for you guys.

Re: Watch this space.
its not the road I was looking to go down Mike, we had a good sound offer from a consortium of a mixture local celebs with the Wolves at heart, probably with just enough money to get us in a stronger position but would have 100% backing from the fans.bluemike wrote:I hope it works out for you John but this Guangchang character sounds iffy to say the least. I know this site isn't the place to talk Wolves but reading a lot of concerns on your owner on here, but as they say "be careful for what you wish for" so this concerns all us real fans.
but hey ho this is Wolves.
on a happier side, not long now to another season. lets hope its a good en for both of us.

I hear the Chinese consortium have proposed to change the name to the Wolverhampton Golden Pandas! I can't wait to hear the new owners pronounce Wolverhampton Wanderers!

talk of the Sandwell mob up the road being bought out by another Chinese company called WANDA sounds a bit fishy.
also a change of name to West Bromwich Wanda ers lol
Chinese investors could complete a hat-trick of Midland football clubs – with a takeover of Albion still on the cards.

Re: Watch this space.
Well just an update on this season of great expectation.
Well after the great Walter Zenga.s knowledge of the English game, we now find ourselves with our 5th manager since the Mighty Mick left us, Now we have Mr Paul Lambert in charge , and the odds have falling just a tad from 4/1 to 275/1. to win the Championship outright from the start of season.
the moral of this story is, (answers on a postcard):
Anyone heard of this man down there in Suffolk.

Re: Watch this space.
Lol, I think he will do well with Wolves tbh.
He knows this division and if he's given some money it will be interesting to see what he can do.
Most Town fans respect Lambert and many would be happy if he had ever turned up at PR. He was probably the only thing good to come out of scum city......and he used them as a stepping stone to bigger things.
