I'm quite impressed with our second half performance. We could easily be ahead at this stage and are matching Reading in every area so far. Could easily have had a second penalty when Liam Moore struck Teddy Bishop with his arm.

Complete suicide, haven't our players been briefed on referees clamping down on holding pushing, shoving and shirt pulling in the penalty area, or are they just f**king thick!?

You can't blame the referee for the second penalty, clubs have been warned. Even the first pen albeit harsh was well within the rules.

Knudsen - the point he gained us against the Scum, wiped out by a moment of sheer stupidity. In truth, he's not really good enough.

Even worse I had a £30 bet on a 1-1 draw. and a further £15 treble on three draws with Reading v Town being the first leg.

There goes my full house of points. I had first goal scorer, first sub, half time score and full time score sewn up.

Oh well, Best & Lawrence mustn't be showing Mick any quality in training. Thanks for answering that question, Mick.

Should of been four in my opinion. Thought Bishop got forearm in his face. To me doesn't matter whether could get the ball it was a foul and in the box,, Other than that thought Ref was okay and yes the pens were pens

It would not have been so bad if Berra hand't been warned about the exact same thing just before the corner was taken!!!!Charnwood wrote:Complete suicide, haven't our players been briefed on referees clamping down on holding pushing, shoving and shirt pulling in the penalty area, or are they just f**king thick!?

As harsh as it is we only have ourselves to blame.
Bitterly disappointed, and a harsh lesson learned for the players.

Certainly don't see as panic time though. Smith should of scored, thought he had a stinker in patches today. Thought second half we were the better team. Stupid 3rd penalty to give away.
A draw would of been fair result

Re: Reading FC vs Ipswich Town Preview and Matchday Thread
That was a special kind of stupid for Knudsen to pull that off moments after 2 players were booked for doing the exact same thing and play was held up for 2-3 minutes to calm it all down.
It would have been a decent point against a team who were only more interested in passing it around their half for 90 minutes rather than doing anything productive yet managed to luck their way into 2 goals! Infuriating to say the least.
That said, I think our position looks worse than it is as we've been screwed out of a lot of points so far. I think we're way overdue some good luck in return because right now we seem to have none of it.

95th minute, there should of been 94 FFS the ref was a pr*ck and gave us f*ck all night, all the 50/50 decisions went against us. He must be manc fan who wants to suck Stam off.
