Football clubs being ruined......

Post by jeremy rusher » Sat Nov 19, 2016 11:42 pm

Football clubs being ruined by poor club owners who can either make or break a football club. Many have probably no knowledge or passion in the football industry. A culture of asset stripping businessmen hoping to make a fast buck. Another example is yet another manager sacking at Charlton Athletic in less than a year. The same nonsense that has blighted many great football clubs like Leeds Utd, Aston Villa, etc .

Losing again today was painful to watch and was it just "another bad at the office" Mick McCarthy ? We need to desperately buy some quality because the excuses are wearing thin now Mr Evans. It felt like the crowd atmosphere was mumbling..... "Here we go again"
Not looking forward to Holloway and his QPR team coming to Portman Road .

With what, shirt buttons ? There's no money available and even if there is, Evans isn't going to provide the necessary funds to make the club competitive. Far as I could ascertain all the proceeds from the Mings sale wasn't utilized to full effect and we're getting by largely from loan additions to the squad.

As mentioned elsewhere and before, we're in possession of an owner who seems to view the running of the club more of a hobby than an actual business enterprise. The obligatory 'we could be in worse condition in the event of new ownership' will arise, but are fans of this club really prepared to stick with what we still possess.

PBB....., if I won 100 mill on the lottery, not a penny would go to any football club, including Hibs. Unless it's Barca or Real, the entire business is a money drain.

Unless you are a property developer, buy a football club for a tenner, build over a 100 houses on the clubs land and a new stand for 20 odd million that because of the roof, It is half empty when it rains :? , then sell the club on for 35 million.

but I cant see anyone falling for that ol chestnut, not even the new Norwich City FC CEO,

, Idea Marco, give me that 100 mill and I will make you a thousandair this time next year. 8)

WOLFIE, ....., You make me think of my son and his buddy, Mikey. A game at Easter Road last season, Me and my son had given our STs to someone else as We couldn't make it. Change of plan happened within the family and then We could go......, my son said, "Don't worry dad, Mikey will get us decent tickets for the East!" (We couldn't be arseholes and ask for our STs back)......., fast forward to the game........, seats were down the front of the East Stand, Row F. As we sat down, Mikey said, "Aw peeeeeerfect, peeeeeerfect seats!" I kept quiet, my son said, "Really? Hope it doesn't rain, Mikey!"
Fast forward to the 35th minute, f**king pissing down......., my son, "Aye Mikey, feckin peeeeeeeeeeerfect, just feckin peeeeeeeerfect!"
I laughed my a$$ off whilst getting soaked!
