It was impossible to contain an anger after the game.

McCarthy is a reason why we've lost. A sole reason. Defensive gutless pighead and his defensive 'philosophy'.

Didn't travel today but I watched 2nd half on the stream. I've got to say it was the best Town performance I've seen for a long while. We were quick, all over them, creating chances. Yes we were really quick and that negates his 'philosophy'.

Tom Lawrence..... not only his goal which was a screamer just his performance was bang brilliant. He was immense today and if we ever aim to get out of this league we need to spend money on players of his calibre.
The quality costs money and he's a perfect example for that. If he stays in the Championship it'll be really frustrating and annoying to see him playing for the different Championship club next season. He is a kind of footballer that our midfield needs. But we have been told there is no chance the club are going to make a bid for him. Sums us up !!!

Two minutes after his goal perfect chance for Pitman but he was lingering too long and Hall's last-gasp block prevented a goal.

Really encouraging and enjoyable performance. QPR were visibly struggling and 3 points were simply ours to grab.

Then came 70 min and our tactical genius decided to kill our momentum and 'go for a point' approach. Douglas introduction was senseless, stupid, inexplicable. I don't blame the player. I blame McCarthy. If he says we needed fresh legs in the midfield he had options in Dozzell or Sears to continue our attacks.
The picture changed. We became less threatening and QPR visited our box more often.

Really poor manner in which QPR's Wszolek scored a winning goal as Webster got outmuscled so easily.

A little bit more than 500 days of the same torture ahead, until his contract expires. Not the first time he'd rather a point than attack oppostion and not the last. But the circumstances of defeat today are really embarrassing as we had been far better and dominant team until his ideas f*cked everything up.

I echo what Mach says we were bang on top until MM decided to ignore the fact that dozell changed the game against Bristol and bring on lard arse Douglas instead. all creativity nullified in one swift moment

 Those substitutions were the killing of this game for Town, Dozzel sits on the Bench still, Mick is so one dimensional, he just cant help completely F*****g the side up, the man is a complete mongrel, Please Marcus get rid of this bloody idiot, if someone comes in for him, of which I doubt, get them to pay his compensation and pack his bags, he's an embarrassment, things were going so well and he makes them substitutions, Douglas and Knudsen ???????????? WHAT WAS HE THINKING OF, oh I know lets try and scrape a draw, WRONG, then he wonders why the fans boo him and want him gone, its because your an idiot Mick.

Knudsens was an enforced one as Kenlock was limping but Douglas introduction is beyond me to comprehend.

Can't believe no one is saying anything about Berra's half arsed jump and header for QPRS opener. Fk sake, Christophe, go watch that again and get that sh*t sorted out...., you are better than that.

Unbelievable !!! Everything was going so well, a very adventurous starting line up with an attacking formation had us all encouraged for what lie ahead. From the off we had the upper hand and most of the play with McGoldrick 3 times and Pitman having early half chances which were not threatening the keeper too much. It was against thre run of play when QPR took the lead and once again was from yet another f*ck up at the back, this time from Berra, who it has to be said had been our best Defender up to this point, his pathetic attempt at a clearing header falling nicely for the striker who finished with aplomb. The remainder of the half passed without any real threat at either end. We really didn't deserve to be behind, the formation had worked quite well and we had got ourselves on top only to gift another goal.

The start of the second half saw MM revert to a 4-4-2 with Ward coming on for Emmanuel who had done quite well. The half was only a couple of minutes old when Town drew level thanks to a screamer of a strike from our best player again Tom Lawrence, the celebrations in the Town end were something to behold, a great moment and belief was high that we could go on and win a game that we had held the upper hand in most of the afternoon. Not long after our goal Pitman had a chance to put us ahead but squandered it before the very quiet Bart pulled off a save to thwart Rangers. More chances followed for town with Didsy and the impressive Kenlock both trying their luck.

Quite what happened in the final 20 minutes beggared belief with the substitution of Douglas to replace the apparently knackered Bru, screams from the away end for Andre Dozzell to be given a chance to repeat his starring role against Bristol City fell on deaf ears with McCarthy opting for his trusty friend JD. It was a ridiculous decision and from that point you could see Town falling deeper and deeper, to compound that bollocks we then lose Kenlock and have another no mark in Knudsen to replace him, apparently a calf strain the reason for the change. It was inevitable that we would pay for a change in approach and so it proved, this time webster at fault in allowing the striker to get the better of him and we find ourselves behind. Yet again we grab defeat from the jaws of victory, the chants of "No points, it should have been three" echoing out of the away fans end, the mood changed from one of celebration and cautious optimism to disbelief and anger at how we could literally throw away the win, that game was there to be won and we just pissed it away, or MM did.

Bart (6) Chambo (6) Berra(7) Webster (6) Emmanuel (6) Kenlock (7) Bru (7) Skuse (6) Lawrence (9) Didsy (7) Pitman (6)
SUBS :- Ward (6) Douglas (4) Knudsen (4)

A really enjoyable day was totally f*cked up by MM's ineptitude, all was going so well until the decision was made to basically shut up shop and play the safety first card once again, he really is his own worst enemy, he cut his own throat once again, he may just have been getting some respite on the back of the bristol win and a good performance today but then goes and does that. The away support was fantastic today and the atmosphere was superb, just a shame we were then all f*cked over by Mick and his negativity once more. If I had any doubts before today about wanting him to go they are now firmly dismissed. Please just do us a favour and go. very unhappy tonight.

This is becoming so embarrassing. When Micks biggest fan and long term defender Bluemike says it's time to go, surely his time has to be up.

Lose at home to Lincoln could lead to "Goodbye Mick"

Nothing wrong in dreaming.

having been at the game yesterday I was left seething at the end, very angry and disappointed in how MM dealt with the game/after match press conference.

After the Bristol City game I felt there was a huge opportunity for MM to prove he is willing to change and modernize his ways, just by being a little more adventurous and brave, he quite rightly took a lot of credit for being brave enough to bring on Dozzell at 1-1 and we ended up with all 3 points, well after yesterday he deserves all the criticism he gets as he threw that game away by trying to be boring and sure up a midfield which I felt was doing ok, we end up losing the match.

I was actually pleased with our starting lineup, I was interested to see how the formation would work. We were 1-0 down at HT but I felt we were on top and were creating chances, even if they weren't clear cut. Kenlock and Emmanuel were excellent on the wings and causing problems to the QPR backline. Encouraging signs. Then we come out 2nd half and went 4-4-2, I wasn't all that happy as playing 45 mins with a new look set up is not enough, stick with it! the signs were good. Although playing the 4-4-2 did give Lawrence a chance to play wider and wow he was fantastic, his goal was something else! But he tore QPR apart and once we got that goal we were all over them, really was just a matter of time before we got a 2nd. So with us being this dominant what does our manager decide to do? Bring on another defensive midfielder and try and take a point. I was furious, as ive always felt best form of defence is attack, we didn't look like conceding when we parked in their half!

From that moment on you just knew we would lose the game, the crowd turned on MM and the atmosphere became toxic again, and then we go and concede a shocking goal, not one Webster will want to see again. I really did feel MM had a chance yesterday, the crowd were with him and the team after the Bristol game, and if MM had of brought on Andre Dozzell (or just left Bru on) and we lost that game I don't think he would have come in for too much criticism, but he seems to like being the villain at the moment and its clear to see there are certain players he wants to play but at the moment doesn't dare as hes trying to cosy up to the fans again, well yesterday in my opinion put the final nail in his coffin. That's not to say ME will get rid of him but he really let us fans down yesterday and quite obviously went against this "5 point plan" ME has, cmon Marcus, do the right thing!

Call me stupid but I have some optimism for the future, I can see a reasonable core group of players in our team, many of them young. But MM is not the man to bring them on, we need a real good coach who wants to really buy into the plan of bringing through a young, hungry team who like to play on the deck. I think with most of our youngsters they are ball playing players, playing the MM way does not suit them, so how does ME really expect MM to work with his new 5 point plan?

It was not possible to follow the game this occasion so took extensive response from a variety of post-game reaction. There was encouragement once again that the team showed enthusiasm and the Lawrence kid (as featured on the TWTD game report) provided something out of the ordinary to put the team in the game and the opportunity was there to build on what we had and hopefully leave with maximum points.

Then again possessing a manager who can't make a distinction between one point and three and the value of victory, went into a defensive set-up and McCarthy seemed insistent on bringing on favored players, one's of which weren't necessary and ultimately less effective than what we already had on the field. Got sympathy for those that traveled (evidently made up a good proportion of the crowd) only to see a wasted chance due to the manager playing it his own way and making crucial misjudgments.

Even if we had won, it wouldn't have changed opinion. Manager's outlasted his welcome long before yesterday and what occurred in West London only reinforces the need to rid of specific personnel.

It won't change a thing and you know it.

Let's face it, it's not just McCarthy who treats the competition with unambiguous apathy, the majority of the fans don't care less either if we go out at the earliest opportunity and it was never going to be first on the list of the clubs primary objectives for the season.

Best guess would be it'll reach 80 minutes without score, McCarthy will p*ss his pants at the thought of anything more daring, and we'll play it out for remainder of time and take a second game to Sincill Bank or wherever they're at.

Once again whatever occurs : McCarthy's position as manager will in no way be further jeopardized.

Yes......, they do play at Sincill, and they won the Premier League and the FA CUP back in 1998, beating Liverpool 4-1 in the final.

AHHH, Premier League Manager 98 for the PS1......., Memories.
