You were right after all, Mick.
We need Chambo, Skusey and Dougie.
FFS - get Dougie on. He's got a goal in him... you told us so.

Just heard Luke Varney has been stretchered off with oxygen mask on. Feel gutted for him and hope he'll be ok.

For Christ sakes... get some subs on.
So what if they're kids... The opponents aren't Barcelona.
No point in putting them on the bench otherwise.
And cant see him putting Dougie on because he's trying to protect him (pointless anyway) ... same as he's protecting Chambers and Skuse.
Tommy L again..., get in there!!!!

Well......, with league position in the balance, having to traipse up from corner of the world, 'SoFuck' to Lincoln midweek is an absolute ball breaker.ipswichtownNo1 wrote:Feckin mick out!!!
Couple that with it sounding like Lincoln were rampant in the first half, against a supposed decent ITFC side, I'd say it's time up now. Yep...., its done now, Mick.

Well done, Lincoln! Imagine how happy their fans must be after making the trip. Good luck in the replay...please put us out of our misery, so we can focus on not getting relegated.

Re: Ipswich Town vs Lincoln City FACup 3rd Round Matchday Thread
I thought we would loose so I'm delighted a strong team of ours at home to a non league outfit scrapped a draw just like my predictions.
Here is another one, we WILL LOOSE the replay and the game with a rejuvenated Blackburn.
I really do feel for those that turned up and in all honesty expected a large win to us.
Mick won't go even after we get knocked out of the cup and loose or manage a draw against Blackburn.

Taking nothing away from Lincoln, but that was the straw that broke the camels back! Only saved by 2 goals from a player who isn't even ours. The prospect of further midweek embarrassment is just too much. I have never been an advocate for just sacking a manager, and while I feel a lot of our problems run deeper than just Mick himself, I have to say it is time to go Mick! Maybe even if it just to show Marcus that he should've backed a manager who could've done so much more!marko69 wrote:Well......, with league position in the balance, having to traipse up from corner of the world, 'SoFuck' to Lincoln midweek is an absolute ball breaker.ipswichtownNo1 wrote:Feckin mick out!!!

Maybe it is the Ticket Tout that should be OUT. I am sure that Selling on form Strikers was not Mick's bright idea!

It says something when we score a goal and none of the fans around me celebrate.

And we are so reliant on Lawrence. Sadly...., not our player.... Just like Fraser.
The MM phrase ' we'll get him working with TC" doesn't wash. I bet someone like Lawrence would have no career in football if he had to rely on the coaching abilities of MM /TC.
Where was the subs? Guess what.... these are a non-league club. Give the kids a go.

Can't comment accurately on this, Lucy because I do not know what the tempo of the game was in the closing stages...... If Ipswich were on the ascendency then yes, definitely would've applauded the goal,......., but if it was pure desperation, then yes, I reckon I'd have thought, "FK SAKE!!"lucy wrote:It says something when we score a goal and none of the fans around me celebrate.
In fact I think I'd have been in the Drum & Monkey in the 85th minute.

Re: Ipswich Town vs Lincoln City FACup 3rd Round Matchday Thread
Speaks volumes for me and though I never liked sacking management and I'm totally aware of the the fact Mick has worked with less than a shoe string budget and the fact that I have no idea whom we could seriously bring in as a replacement. I want Mick gone. The problem is much much much more than Mick and Tc I believe Evans has to take a look at the club and himself.lucy wrote:It says something when we score a goal and none of the fans around me celebrate.
Any replacement would no doubt also work with loanees and journeymen.
Sad times indeed.

I did say feck it when he scored as it now means a mid-week trip up to Lincoln for the replay.marko69 wrote:Can't comment accurately on this, Lucy because I do not know what the tempo of the game was in the closing stages...... Quite expect to see our Championship superstars go out of the competition but will be another ground to check off the been too list.
As for today's game will let others comment as if I put mine will probably end up being banned from the forum.

Another embarrassing cup performance by a Ipswich Town team run by this embarrassing excuse of a manager. Please will you just f*ck off and let Ipswich have their team back.

As I wrote above Evans deserves just as much as Mick and if he cared for the club he would utilise his connections and find a replacement for Mick. It's clearly not working and we are heading only one way. League one is more than a real possibility it's a probability.

Didn't bother going today and in the end glad i didn't. We are a shambles
I will go to the replay for no other reason than its a ground I've not yet been to.
I'm now waiting for MM to confirm Lincoln are a good team and no mugs and that he cant fault the players effort etc...
