Re: FA Cup
Crap draw for Town....
Not much of an incentive for the boys when they travel up to Lincoln....
That said, at least it's a home draw which makes a pleasant change, especially two in a row, just a shame we don't have a decent team to take advantage.

Re: FA Cup
I'm personally hoping ITFC do a Hibs from last season. Drew with Inverness in the Scottish Cup at Easter Road. Then were defeated on the Sunday in the League Cup Final by Ross County, (bad, BAD day) ..... but then travelled 3 days later to Inverness for the replay and hammered them, 2-0...... Not a hammering score wise, but destroyed them. Should've been more.
A win at Sincil could spark some energy for the league campaign. And a ITFC v BHA game could be decent......, especially if BHA are concentrating on gaining EPL status....., they'll need to keep fit to stay the course with the Nookie 'Pies.

Re: FA Cup
(The) Pity is, a game with Brighton on home soil should be well within our capabilities, but the team demonstrated once again at the weekend we must insist on doing things the hard way and making life difficult for ourselves.
Seriously, I don't think we'll even survive the replay game. People talk about 'upsets of epic proportions' (should Lincoln see victory) but Christ, take away the respective leagues keeping us apart, they're a decent team and at least a lot more damned cohesive and determined than ourselves. As always, It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.
The opportunity is there to progress to the Fifth Round here at ITFC in rare appearance for recent years, but there's too many deficiencies holding us back from player belief to the greater problem that is McCarthy himself.
