So......
Nearly half way through the January window, and Micks desire for an "Early signing", is blowing in the wind.
We have been linked to just about every available player at our level, but still not a sniff of any players in talks, or having medicals. It seems as soon as a fee us mentioned Town suddenly become a less likely destination for that player, and our attentions are reportedly diverted to a 19yr old ( Burnley player today).
SO what exactly IS going on as the Club?
1. Where has all the money gone that we got for Murphy in the summer? £3m +...(Mings £8m), etc etc
2. Why isn't McCarthy acting on Evans 5 point plan written on the back if a fag packet?....."develop our own players, and buy in young players to develop these ". Why even look at other Clubs 19yr old when we have potentially equally good youngsters of our own, in the U23's, U 21's either playing in reserve games, or sat , unused on the bench?
3. That nagging feeling that Evans has lost interest ( No activity in this window)?
4. Are we witnessing yet again another managerial reign drifting into its twilight days, meaning Evans is not
willing to give a soon to be departing manager any funds?
5. If all of the above is a load of ballony, what is the amount Town WOULD be prepared to pay for a player these days.
If we really can't compete with clubs reportedly offering £800k - £2m for a player, or aren't prepared to match these Clubs, perhaps it really is time for Evans to sell up to someone who is, because without a meaningful level of financial support for the manager ( style of play a separate issue ), then we may as well all pack up a and go home.
I'll put money on it , we will once again sign no one in this window and resort to short termist approach of loan signing of other Clubs injury pro e journeyman, or development of other Clubs youngsters and not our own, because MM / Evans haven't got a f ucking clue!

Re: So......
MM will be jettisoned in May with minimal compo. New young manager in. Funds provided for summer signings. We win the league. Obvious!

Re: So......
Hallam ........read this on one of our sites, think it goes for all of us
The great ride of the football fan
On this roller coaster, we all get in this carriage at our own free will, we can get off at any time, but by the time we realise this it’s too late, we are hooked.
The carriage reaches the highs but you know it’s going to come down a lot faster than it went up.
We have the fun fair managers that seem to keep us up there for a while but the trip back down is just around the corner. So we try another manager who says he can work this ride better than the last.
We have the owners of this ride promising to be the most exciting ride of your life, but they never said there are cogs missing and there’s a nasty smell coming from the engine room.
There’s a better and more successful ride not too far away but we won’t be straying from our own local ride,
Most of us stay on for yet another go round with that feeling this is finally the ride of your life , some get off but quickly get back on worried there miss the moment they have been waiting all their life and free time for.
Why can’t we just get off the next time it stops and walk away.

Re: So......
Can't recall exact date when Evans took ownership but seems a good eight or nine years at the club. In actual fact 2017 could represent a decade with us but as before, not 100 per cent on all facts and figures.
Seems at times there's something sinister underway . Don't know what Marcus Evans agenda is but the way he's conducted business with us has at times been questionable. Eight or nine years as mentioned, three or four sh*t managers, and the team in truth hasn't at any time looked likely to challenge other than that rare appearance in the top six a year or two back.
Didn't Evans move business from Bermuda to the Isle of Man if correct, to what end I don't know. To keep a closer eye on this investment ? It's highly debatable there simply isn't enough interest in our direction to properly progress or become established once again as a premier league team. (If the reported 730 million personal wealth is to be believed, then where's the money being utilized when we need it most and available for adequate signings)
