Not being English, was unable to relate to the full extent of embarrassment when you lost to Iceland but this could well provide a greater insult.

Lincoln City (non league) 1

Ipswich (championship) 0

You got to read it - to believe it

TWO ATTEMPTS TO BEAT A LEAGUE FROM OUTSIDE PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL AND WE STILL COULDN'T DO IT

Total f**king embarrassment, no sense in getting upset, with the idiot McCarthy and this team, something of this nature was always liable to happen.

Did anyone from here go the game in person ? Sincere condolences you had to witness such sh*t from us - again

And where's Marcus Evans when all this is going on ? Head stuck in his as* again ? Is he even aware we were playing tonight ? Does he care ? McCarthy needs to be fired NOW - someone do something.

Credit to Lincoln, they played very well, a team clearly full of confidence, but Town were woeful, no two ways about it, no excuse.

Back to basics Town, how about pass and move for starters???
I've said it for 2 years now. We can't pass and we don't move. As soon as I saw the team selection I thought we'd lose.

As I said after last saturday, Berra csnt play in a baclear 3.

So many other problems out there tonight.

This is a non league side for god sake.
This is mostly about Mick, because this whole team is pretty much Mick as he demands. Face the music.

Nah shamm, mick played 7 defenders, his fault he is to blame.
I support your view fully. I am suggesting that the players are in a championship side against a non league side and should perform no matter what team is on the pitch.
Mick must leave.

At least we were put out of our misery without having to suffer another 30mis of extra time.

I must say I'm pleased to be in Spain, life back home would be unbearable for the next few days, even worse I'd most likely now be starting the drive home from Lincoln.

We could do worse than offer Lincoln City Football Club MM & TC as a straight swap for the Cowley Bros, at least they appeared to go into the game with a plan.

Yes but Lincoln would like to stay in the Van Conf......, not drop to the Van Conf Nth or Sth!

Looking forward to Bluemike's match report!

I'll be interested in how he and others rated the atmosphere.
On the TV it was pretty average until the goal, sad to say the Town support seemed poor.
Good on the 1,100 that went on a Tuesday night - must have been awful.

Whatever happened to that drive and determination we had back in the playoff season? That feels like such a long time ago.

Lincoln had us beaten for everything, they wanted it and we rolled over and let them take it. Everyone on that pitch needs a good look at themselves, because that was disgraceful.

Apart from Dean Gerkin, J4ck. He was quite solid in goal, positioning was excellent for most of their 458 crosses.

just feel the need to say that although every Town player was awful - Berra was astonishingly poor.

I'd be very surprised if Bluemike submits a report. Hats off to him if he does. What can he possibly add to what we all saw.

Berra was non existent in the first half. Was the best defender 2nd half though. Pulled his finger out.

He's good centrally. If he had to go wide. ...oh dear. The system doesn't suit him.

How the f*ck can an attacking free kick at their end turn from a Town advantage to a goal conceded in a matter of seconds, and why the f*ck didn't Knusden chase their eventual scorer back into our half, he simply gave up the chase.

Bollocks, I've had enough, I'm off to bed.

That's true, it's hard to fault Gerken for anything. Not a huge amount he could have done with the goal, he was left for dead by the defence.

Utterly disgusting disappointment disgraceful performance, with some playing actually worse than in the league. Shocking display and I can't believe that all the players are totally behind mick. I have to admit I truly feel sorry for him, not backed, making do with freebies, selling anyone with a little ability, the list goes on. Micks team he has to go.
We won't go down but what have we got to loose. Do one Mick have some pride and do one.

Yup, shocking entire first half really....,,... But Berra (& Gerkin) kept it to 1-0 full time score. Got a fair amount of crucial blocks in.

Sorry guys as you all saw the abject f**king sh*te I really CBA to do any report, those fuckwits don't deserve anymore of my time. I am getting sick of dragging my arse all over the country to watch that f**king dross. I question my sanity going to Huddersfield saturday. Not sure what they showed on TV but when fans start to try to get onto the pitch to attack their own players you have serious problems. Just f*ck OFF Mccarthy please.

What is required is fan power - no support until the owner makes an appropriate investment for a club wanting to be top 6 and the immediate replacement of the management team with a team reflective of quality football the club deserves.

Is that true, did that actually happen, i would not be surprised if it did, i have never in all my years of being a town fan witnessed anything so dire, clueless, pathetic, words fail me, they should all to a man donate their wages to a local hospice or something because they surely have not earnt them, if i saw anyone of them on the street words would be exchanged for sure! just soo angry and on National tv too!! which makes it even worse, the entire nation and across the world saw that dross! i just can,t express my anger strong enough!!
