Ridiculous isn't it. I am genuinely interested to hear from people who want things to remain as they are. Where do they see the hope and what evidence is there that Mick is going to turn this round? I don't see it in any way. Many of our players are in no way good enough, and I include people like Grant Ward in that who the club will try and convince is a great signing on the back of a couple of good performances. I would be willing to give him time as hes young but when he is in a midfield full of old, slow, passive players what hope does he have.

I really cannot for the life of me see this changing, even last year I don't think we were good enough, we finished 7th but I thought we were poor and very uninspiring for the most part

For me it's not necessarily the result that bothers me so much but more than nature of the performance. 2 shots on goal is simply not acceptable against ANY OPPOSITION!!

We have a poor squad which is low on confidence. The Manager AND coaching staff cannot escape blame for this by simply using the 'lack of funds' excuse and pointing the finger at ME. My real concern is that shipping in another manager at this time could easily lead to relegation spiral, whereas I think MM will pick up enough points to keep ITFC in The Championship.

Sadly I think the club should stick with MM & TC until the end of the season and then make a change. Even MM must now admit he has taken the club as far as he can?

I get what you are saying Jimmy but I don't think we will get relegated this season whatever happens. And even if MM announced he was leaving at the end of the season perhaps it would be a half way house. I know its not ideal as then you could argue players may down tools knowing he is leaving, but players should want to win whatever, and they will not want to get relegated. I think fortunately there are more than 3 teams worse than us this season, I think we will finish mid table with no problems. I think MM probably does think he has taken us as far as he can, but I also think he may give it one more go next year and bring in some new players, but he is growling a bit about not being able to afford the players he wants.

There doesn't appear to be any signs of the manager changing, but I see no choice in it anymore, as you say 2 shots on goal is not good enough, in 2 games against a non league team, their keeper has hardly had a save to make.

f*ck what Milne says, is the individual registered blind that he's unable to witness what is going on out there ?

Some considerable talk of indecisive fans here at Portman Road in recent weeks but you can rest assured there's (for me) not a week or game that passes throughout this season in wishing both McCarthy and Evans to leave and never return. The pity is, pick up a win in our next league game over whatever opposition, and half the support will revert to chomping away at McCarthy's inner child and giving the team plaudits and adulation.

Most of us are sincere enough to realize and admit that picking up victory one in every four games and one instance of improvement amid a month of unmitigated garbage is nothing more than papering over cracks, that has the propensity to reach chasm proportions. As others have alluded to, it's a mess.
