Design looks impressive and fans should go for the collar. Only problem being having that garbage across the front of it..
As one who doesn't purchase merchandise from the club it would seem a little premature to release next seasons strip particularly after the end game is still only yesterday. Bottom line how many are actually going to buy this new issue, we've just endured one of the worst campaigns in club history, and with season ticket sales taking a hit also, how many does the club realistically expect to sell ?

Yes, has my seal of approval. Very nice. If the away shirt is white with three black stripes up the side, I'll definitely purchase.

I like the shirt but I wont be buying it with that names on the front. Be the first time in approx 20 years I haven't bought a shirt (either home or away).

I suppose shirt sales will be another indicator as to how bad fans discontent really is.

agree with you Charlton. I saw a very nice (proper) retro shirt on Sunday on a Town fan. It was the 1978 FA Cup winners shirt. No advertising and slightly silky in look. The bloke wearing wasn't bad either lol !
HD got it off ebay....so think I might have a gander and see what u can find.

Toffs, Hallam. The silky 78 top is on that site. Along with the George Best Hibs top. Go buy both my dear!

Good idea, I love those retro shirts. In fact I was wearing one at the game on Sunday

Haha only joking but my mate has one and they look smart. And goes along with the "support the team/club but not the regime" mood

If Town's new shirt is from the Adidas template stock ( I think they call it thst) for 2017/18, surely it is possible to get the home style Town shirt but without saying Evans name? Many footie clubs order from this company and just put the club badge on it. Why can't I buy a shirt and do the same thing?

Amid all the garbage of not only this season, but essentially the past 10 years, it's easy to overlook the fact it's our 40 year anniversary (fa cup honor) next year and giving second opinion on the new release, some fans would have preferred the design of that year (i.e. neck and darker blue color) not to mention a similar glossy presentation.
Once again having the owners name on front is an unsavory prospect for many but take into consideration the misfortune of others clubs years back who had to endure sponsorship from such examples as Super Furry Animals, Wet Wet Wet, Black Death Vokda, Porn Hub and No Smoking (?)
Like it, don't like it, Marcus Evans would seem tame in comparison.

I think I would start supporting a club with "porn hub" as their sponsor. Just so I could buy the shirt. Then wear it to family gatherings to pi$$ people off.
You serious, Saint? What club was that?
Must admit, I do remember Clydebank turning up to Easter Road in their "Wet Wet Wet" shirts! We laughed our a$$es off!

I wonder if Marcus would still put his name on the shirt if we were relegated?

I really like the shirt. Am I losing it, or wasn't there talk a couple of months ago about a new sponsor coming on?

Came across this quiz item just recent in that they ask you to name all Ipswich sponsors since the introduction of shirt sponsorship in the early 1980's. Will admit only got seven out of eight, thought long and hard but could not recall the second sponsorship deal. The remaining others didn't present too much of an obstacle.

Decent wee quiz there. Didn't get two of them, from 03-08, (must've been a busy time for me)
The sponsor immediately after the first one, (won't say names as it'll ruin the quiz) ........ but if anyone has that shirt, and are willing to sell, let me know...... I'll buy.
