So we've missed out on Goldson and got a young kid who's primarily a RB?
If that's the case, not sure how much better of we are. Really needed an experienced CB.

Not entirely clear on the logic of this loan - but wish the lad well for his time here. Time will tell whether failure to land a recognised, experienced, CB will impact adversely. But too late now,
Interesting to see the amount and quality of business done by other CShip clubs - notably 'arry at B'ham, Sunderland, S Wed and Derby.

I don't think the Goldson move was ever going to happen, Brighton signed the defender cover, albeit not the original defender they wanted, BUT it was done in plenty of time for Ipswich to tie the loan deal up, and on the Brighton web sight there's mention of the loan move going through if they sign the defender cover they want, of which they did, But low and behold no arrival of Goldson, so me thinks that as usual this was just a wishful pursuit by MM & ME and was never going to happen, Ipswich always leave their special deals to the last minute, and invariably lose out, its happened countless times.
But the young Everton RB Connolly move was secured by Joe Royal as the Lad can play at Centre Half, Joe still has a soft spot for Ipswich and wants them to do well, but I'll bet Mick wont play him at QPR game, he'll stick with make shift full backs to cover the centre back slot for a few months, of which his intentions were always to make do until Smith or Chambo or Webster are fit again, will be interesting to see the line up against QPR.

Only Spider-Man has this, Ash. Don't pi$$ off the superheroes with transfer talk....... they've got more pressing issues to deal with.

Just found the biggest spider you-ever-did-see in the dog's bed - not the Super Hero variety! Probably take them both for a walk later, providing dog doesn't consume said spider. A sight for saw eyes.....!

Hopefully that spider doesn't bite the dog, Herford. Otherwise the dog could be taking you out for that "walk" with its new super spidey powers.

That signing is completely underwhelming I suppose he can move Iorfa to centre back and play Conolley at right back but he won't because he is a f**king fossil who will go with the same line up until a centre back returns from injury. By then we will be 10th in the league.

The only chance Mick has of getting a CB in now is if there's a decent free agent one hanging around, I still reckon like Blue Mike said Joleon Lescott could do a good job for us, and he's free??? But in the mean time lets see how the cookie crumbles with what we've got, Connolly is only 19 so if Joe Royale says he's good enough I would go with that, I would take Joe's advise against Micks any day

Big Joe also said Conor Grant was good enough, he wasn't.

There's been a bloody site worse signings than Grant over the last 3 seasons, you know who they are so I wont list them, on Conor Grants time, the reason he failed was 2 things,
Suffolk country life,
and Micks ineptitude to play players in their correct positions, and hoof ball tactics, also he was missing his thieving Liverpool mates
