If you are willing to pay that you are mugs.
dedicated (which i respect) but mugs.
How they can justify 40 quid for a football match is scandalous.
I certainly won't be going to that dump this season as i'll be spending some well deserved time away with the wife in York so i'm sure i can find a nice pub and watch it on Sky with a few crisp and cool pints.
That being said...... 40 quid!?!

£40 for what ?...
You certainly won’t buy a decent lunch for two in York for £40 let alone pay for a hotel !
With a bit of luck you might buy 4 drinks each and a few bags of crisps.

Is that how much Bolton are wanting away fans to pay tomorrow, CFP?

Most likely the admittance fee for visitors tomorrow. Don't know what the new stadium prices represent, have not participated in an away fixture with the opposition since Burnden Park. Forty pounds would seem absurd, there has to be an error someplace.

Yes - Norwich away.
Scandalous

I am a mug.
I'd pay a hundred quid to be with the Cabbage & mates @ Shitecastle.

Winning is always the massive bonus........ but it's a derby v bitter rivals. Even if the cabbage are humped, it's always good to hang around reminding the bstds that they're low life, stinking bucket raking bstds from shithole Gorgie.

Sorry, but it's Scottish Cup derby day tomorrow and the excitement is building. Can't wait. The whole day is a lot of fun, and great banter too. To be honest, a couple of mates who are Jambos read this forum......., you know who you are you pair o' bucket raking tossers!

What Charnwood said, I'd pay that sum to see us beat that opposition, hell it would be worth every penny and then some. Yes it's somewhat expensive, but any price would be immaterial to have the feeling of beating them for the first time in more years that can care to remember.
Just for the record, Bolton's fee for visitors today was in the region of 26 pounds for Adults, 20 for senior citizens and 10 for Juniors. One pound booking charge which all told, seems reasonable.

You’re right SJ, you have to go back 10 games to April 2009 which was the last time we beat Norwich in a Championship fixture which we won 3-2. Including that game we only lost 1 in 7, how times have changed.

Hope you’re right there Dubai. It’s about time us Tractor Boys had some bragging rights, can you believe I’m 1333 miles from “home” and in my regular golf group I have a Norwich fan who used to play for them. I could really do without carrying on without us having a win.

It was said before, it's the players and managers mentality that prevents us from taking maximum points whenever we play. There's simply not the belief that we can take victory and dare you say it, a feeling of resigned defeat before they even enter the field. Recall when Mr Royle was manager, we went to Carrow Road and won 2 - 0, it was near the end of a season and the feeling that day was tremendous. However we missed out on the play-off games by a point or two.
If we possessed a manager who understood the true nature of three points and enough players with a will to win, we would take three points from Norwich at least once a season I truly feel, but until certain elements are rectified, we'll (invariably) continue to miss out when the big occasions are upon us.

Not sure why anyone would be surprised at price. Whilst I’m not happy about it it has been about £40 since they came back down from the PL and probably before that too. Would have been nice for both sets of fans if they agreed to the £25 cap for both clubs.
