Re: Today’s Footie Bet.
Thanks Marko, I will give it all back in the coming weeks.
Out of interest what online betting agencies do we all use?
I use bet365, it seems to dominate down here.

Betfair for me, Frosty. I do sometimes shop around but generally, Betfair usually come up with the best returns for the 8 team accumulator bet, (which never wins!)

f**king hate Clyde lol ever since I saw us trounce them 4-2 at Station Park back in the Eighties, Owen Coyle in their ranks and Charlie Nicholas who was injured that day.

Just had a look at betfair Marko, unfortunately doesn't have a NZD currency option.

I can't speak for the Harrogate game Andy, but unlucky with Blackpool.
These are the days when you would rather miss by a mile than being so close huh?

Re: Today’s Footie Bet.
Originally I had Barnsley in but changed it to Blackpool chasing marginally better odds, god knows why I threw in a Conference fixture that was a first and really random.
Well done you anyway, always nice to have a winner amongst us.

Imagine Blackpool had won, Charnwood. You could’ve named that bet “horror-gate!”

Re: Today’s Footie Bet.
Do you mean “cathartic”, mugen?
Carthic sounds like something a buddy of mine would say if he was car sick. He’s got a lisp!
And yes....... it is very refreshing that other people blow at gambling also!
Except Frosty!

I actually remember that Clyde team. They were a decent side. They came to Easter Road late 80s in a 3rd rd Scottish Cup tie.

Re: Today’s Footie Bet.
Well today I’ve done a £10 safe treble with Leeds, Man City and Chelsea all to win. Returns a meagre £33.19, surely this can’t go wrong ?

That EPL is getting more boring than the SPL with Man City skelping teams every week.

Re: Today’s Footie Bet.
Put half of that £8-19 on a “one from each Champions League group” bet. Over the two nights though. Decent bet. Maybe predict a draw to bump that up. Might post a wee CL bet on here tomorrow night.

Re: Today’s Footie Bet.
really? I did it on BET365 on the app. But that is a big difference! I also hadn't realized the Bournemouth game was an early KO, number one rule, never put the early KO on your acca!marko69 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 1:36 pmI’ve been thinking some of these returns are too low for the stake paid. That exact same bet on Betfair returns £288, Charlton.charlton837 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 11:30 amI've gone with the following
Bournemouth to beat Man Utd at home
Watford to beat Newcastle away
Blackburn to beat QPR at home
West Brom to beat Hull away
£5 stake returns just over £180
