🎟 Ipswich Town can now confirm the following compensation options for those who had bought match tickets before the League One season was curtailed.

Receive a full refund back to the payment card that was used for making that purchase.

Leave the refund as credit of the same value to be added to your online account to be redeemed against a ticketing product such as future match tickets, memberships, payment towards a season ticket. T&C's apply.

If you would rather donate the money to be used by the Club for Ipswich Town Community Trust and the Academy, then please email the Club (
mainticketoffice@itfc.co.uk) to confirm that. Any donation will be gratefully received by the Club in what we appreciate is a challenging time for all.

They are fair enough, I doubt many will choose the donate option. I expect the choices for season tkt holders will be much the same with another option of reducing monthly payments to cover what is owed.

The one certainty is that whatever is offered, some buggers will moan about it.

Same for all clubs I suppose, some are going to struggle. Likely to be a few clubs in trouble As a result of this.
I will take the reduced monthly payment option.

I’ve gone for full refund ( and use money to get new shirt ). I hardly saw anything of Town last season due to gout surgery it seemed. But I’ve renewed my ST for whatever season we do get going forward.

When the season ticket options come out I will probably take a reduction in my new season ticket monthly costs if that's an option. I don't feel I should offer to donate the money, as renewing my season ticket is pretty much a gift for the club anyway! I would be interested to know how many season tickets we have sold so far for next season... I cant imagine its many.
