Re: Ray Crawford
I was there that day behind the goal at Chuchmans End, I can’t be the only oldie on here, who else was there when we beat Villa 2-0 with two Ray Crawford goals in the space a few minutes midway through the second half.

Me Too BB Crawford and Phillips what a partnership Ted made it easy for Ray to just clean up the keepers that couldn't hold onto the shot from Ted, those were the start of the glory years and soon to return once again. COYB

I watched a few games that season with my dads family,I saw you beat the Spurs double winning team, and us 3-2. sure i saw you beat Cardiff or Swansea that season as well shortly after the Wolves match, barmy billy wrote: ↑Fri Apr 29, 2022 6:13 pmI was there as well, but in the North stand.

We used to be behind the goal nearest the railway station, happy days although was the start of our decline,
