Weird number selections......, Ipswich @ 32? Have they already carried out a draw to see what teams corresponding numbers are in the real draw? If so....., It's Reading v Ipswich?
Seriously though....., home draw would be decent v a West Ham United or Brighton &HA. A "scalp" for KMcK would be superb.

I'd like to see a home draw against that yellow bunch of inbreds up the road.
Seriously though any home draw against a Prem team would be nice.

Re: FA Cup 4th Round Draw - Numbers
There's so much to take in for Third Round Day, all the ties and teams involved. Haven't got nowhere near awareness all scores although Sheffield Wednesday got a big win over Newcastle, say big the two clubs are really about the size of each other if you go through club history. Plymouth got a draw in the league today which suits us although they didn't play in the Third Round so guess they were eliminated at an earlier stage.
Just need a winnable tie in the next round for ourselves. Someone mentioned Wrexham, hell I'd go for that recalling them beating us in '95 when we were Premier League and them way down lower division. Must have been Burley's first Cup game since coming in after Lyall, remember even now that was a result that hurt to some extent.
We're not going to win the damn thing that much is for sure, but if the manager and team shows the same determination and attitude as today then we'll have a real good chance of making and winning further rounds. Got to avoid real heavyweight names though. Need a favorable draw with a home advantage, you can't ask much more.

Re: FA Cup 4th Round Draw - Numbers
Seems the game will replace the Accrington game on the 28th jan. I had planned to be at the game that day so will see what the draw throws up and maybe go to that instead.
I’d like spurs away though as would be nice to go there, otherwise I’d hope for a ‘easy’ home game.
The big away game would be nice but we could get pumped, decent for the club financially but maybe not for team morale.
Be a shame if we get a rubbish away game.
Also wonder if we will be on tv if it’s a big tie.

Yep would love to get Spurs away and tick that ground off. More likely turn out to be Grimsby away, my last visit there was Burleys last game in charge and we lost 3-0 on a Tuesday night. One of the most depressing nights I’ve had following Town away, we were simply dreadful and the atmosphere was really toxic.shabba wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 11:07 amSeems the game will replace the Accrington game on the 28th jan. Re: FA Cup 4th Round Draw - Numbers
Think the number selections are based on the last round draw. As we were the 32nd game drawn in round 3 we are ball 32 this round.marko69 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 12:18 amWeird number selections......, Ipswich @ 32? Norwich at home not looking too likely Dazza although they have been bombarding the Blackburn goal but remain goalless.

Top of the Championship, that will be a good benchmark of where we are.

Great draw, they basically are a premier League side, it's at home and not impossible, bring it on.

Re: FA Cup 4th Round Draw - Town v Burnley
I’d like to try think I’m wrong Mike but I just don’t see this game as winnable. I think Vincent Kompany and Burnley are awesome and unlike most Prem teams will field a strong side. Maybe I’m getting ahead of myself as I’d already started looking forward to being in the 5th Round draw. I think for now I’ll concentrate on the league and let the players selected to play Burnley enjoy their day.

All we can do is perform and do ourselves proud, if its not good enough it's no disgrace but I certainly think at our absolute best we'd have a small squeak of a chance.

Imo a disappointing draw. A game we are unlikely to win and can’t see a packed PR for this one

I've just had the pleasure of watching the most boring match Man City v Chelsea to think fans turned up to watch that F*****g useless sh*t Chelsea team ever, Potter will be gone next week FACT, If I were a Chelsea supporter I would be asking more my money back plus expenses for travel and I'd make the players pay for it, the only Chelsea player that absolutely tried was Gallagher. far too much tippy-tappy boring football, lets's see Man City against ARSENAL in the next round

Having to play Burnley in round 4 will see how far we have come in a year under KM, I have a feeling we might just surprise little old Burnley, really looking forward to it with the possibility of 3 to 4 new players in the team, I'm certainly not defeatist before we have even kicked a bloody ball attendance will be 30'000 plus[/b]

Home draw is excellent
An EPL / Championship yo-yo club (of late) even at half strength would be a great test. And no buses will be parked……. Should be a great open game.
Win though ——>> Midweek trips to Turf Moor would be a pain in the az. And a 510 mile round trip for Ipswich based fans.
From my front door to Turf Moor its a 470 mile round trip
Just shows how much of an outcrop into the Nth Sea East Angular is!!

Really can’t see it being a full house. I reckon at the most Burnley will bring about a 1,000. A lot will obviously depend on the pricing structure but if we get above 20,000 then I feel we will have done well. Think if people have to choose between this game and a league game then they are more likely to go for the league match at this moment in time due to our promotion push.ashfordblue wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 8:00 pmI reckon a full house for this game Mike, if the north's in full cry it will be rocking COYB
