Subs: Walton, Clarke, Ball, Travis, Taylor, Harness, Sarmiento, Jackson, Al-Hamadi.

Yep - Moore plays so my keeping him as first scorer is still possible! I just missed out on a ticket this time but hate Carrow Road anyway but if we win I will be duly gutted of course to have missed it!! COYB's!!

Re: Championship - Norwich City vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
All week I’ve been looking forward to today with excitement and expectation. Now it’s here I’m feeling a little nervous and anxious which is very out of character. TBH I very rarely enjoy local derby games and have always hated visiting Carrow Road. I lived in Norwich twice, in 74/75 and 88/91, and unlike anywhere else I’ve lived I never once went to a football match there.
What I’m uneasy about is they always seem to raise their game against us and seem to get the rub of the green and the marginal decisions, hopefully today it will be different.
At least we have a strong side out which is what we were all hoping for. All we need now is for the team to give it their best and make sure they defend set pieces well given it’s Norwich’s main strength. If we do we should have enough to win this game which would be massive as it’s probably our most difficult remaining fixture.

Just so very nervous
Mark and myself who live in Norfolk, in my case was born in Norwich just want to win against that lot in yellow. We all want to win of course but 80% of my family and friends are City fans, just fed up with hearing all there chirping

It’s unbelievable to think we’ve not won in the last 13 games. Surely this has to end today, COYB’s

Another Ipswich game on Sky so it’s on ESPN! Listening to their chants, but I don’t speak inbred very well.
And loving that pic of Carrow Road, Frosty!

Maybe the commentary is reflecting the game. 25mins gone, 1 shot each…… zero on target. Bit of a disappointing borefest.
Hopefully it picks up.
COME ON, ITFC

He was pushed. Everytime Sargent flops down the ref has called a foul

Re: Championship - Norwich City vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
Not a brilliant first half, we just don’t seem to be able to keep the ball and too often concede possession. Knowing how good Norwich have been this season from set pieces we really do need to stop giving away so many unnecessary fouls as every free kick is dangerous. No surprise their goal came from one.
Unusual for Ipswich but not a great advert for Championship football but sadly typical of a local Derby which is probably why I never enjoy watching them.

Re: Championship - Norwich City vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
As I said in my pre match comments Mike they always seem better at raising their game than we do. That said they’ve not been much better than us and only have the one shot on target in 45 mins.
We’ve seen a second half revival many times before this season, let’s hope today we see another with at least two town goals.

Apart from Moore doing well in defence not one player has had a good game so far, its so disappointing can we come from again
