I thought Joe hart was retiring and they were after Hladkey, be weird if we then signed a keeper off them.

Hopefully nothing in that……. Especially at over £20M. Potential sTramash Prittskick there. Stats (for me) don’t match the value quoted.

It’s euros not £’s marko .
I reckon our most expensive player will be the striker and even if it was £20m , is that out of the way for a PL striker?

Problem is any news on transfer dealings by the club us so water tight now there is nothing to speculate on. Even the EADT have nothing to feed on.

Yes, was quoted at €22M …… so i converted.
Was a tad out at £18.6M
Certainly not too expensive for an EPL striker in this day and age ——->> but too expensive for that guy.

Maybe,

but maybe they can see scope for improvement in him, a bit like Hirst.
Tbh we’re getting no really info about potential targets are we, which is how it should be.

I read this yesterday whilst travelling but can’t see it happening given the level he’s currently playing at and likely cost.
To help me get up to speed where are we at with Hladky, Walton and Slicker.

Hladky talking over a potential new deal, Slicker is going out on loan or moving on to play games, no word on Walton so far.

That seems to be taking an eternity, making the whole KM saga seem like a TV commercial break in comparison.

It has been going on a while for sure, not helped by the fact Judas McKenna was dragging his heels in committing to the club

McKenna has a career to manage and a family to think of and both will be more important to him than ITFC. He’s taken two or three weeks to consider his options, and decided to stay where he’s clearly very settled and happy which is great news. You just need to get over it and move on, I’m sure Judas Hladky will also make up his mind when he’s ready, but he’s far easier to replace than McKenna so I’m not overly bothered what he does. I’ve also a feeling he’ll most likely drop back in the GK pecking order next season which maybe why he’s taking his time committing himself to the club at the moment. I suspect after such a good season last year he’ll be looking for regular football which is no surprise given his age.

It was a joke Charny, f*ck me everyone's lost their sense of humour, we still need to have a laugh, all serious stuff becomes boring

Mike, you’ve made a number of references to being pissed off that McKenna dare even consider leaving ITFC to the extent that at one stage you weren’t even sure you wanted him to stay given his lack of commitment. You may think it’s funny calling the guy who’s given us so much hope “Judas” but that definitely didn’t come across as a joke to me. Maybe others saw the joke and had a good laugh.

I have made references because he was very close to going, that much is certain which for me left a bad taste tbh which I'm entitled to feel. I think the wink emoji was a bit of a giveaway where the joke was concerned.
