The Hull winger we are after is valued at £18m and presumably Greaves the remainder (£22m), which seems odd for a defender to be valued at more than the attacker doesn't it. But all this Villa stuff now makes more sense. Hull are trying to manipulate the transfer values to reduce the amount they have to pay to Villa as a sell on clause for the winger , so by stating the Greave's fee is higher ( Villa have no connection to him), so Hull are hoping to keep the majority of the money. Hence Villa are now calling their bluff ...its ridiculous isn't it ..

I’ve read Delap will also be announced in next 48 hours but let’s see.

Where do we think Delap will play? Wide right or striker? Not sure Delap and Hirst is enough as the striker options.

We still have another one-year loan option on Sarmiento so why don't we get it actioned, evidently his dad said he had other clubs bidding for his son, yeh Aberdeen is really pushing the boat out, So stop pissing around Jeremy you know you love it here tell your dad to stop interfering in your career and just call KM and tell him you want to play premiership football here at Ipswich.

My concern is we’re almost to mid July and deals are not getting done. I understand it’s a circus, but Kieran will need time to integrate new players in preparation for the Liverpool match. If players aren’t committing to coming to ITFC, we should move on. I know we don’t want to miss out on key players, but there has to be limits. We’re running out of time.
