Not sure about the Broja signing as since his serious injury he doesn’t appear to have shown the same form before it happened.
With Hirst seemingly injury prone we need somebody in that position to come in and hit the ground running. Hopefully Broja can do this although his last loan spell at Fulham was hardly a success.
There seems to be a common thread though with the last three loan signings; quality international players who haven’t shown their best form for at least a season. I would think this means we avoid paying a premium and I’m guessing KM is backing himself to return them to form.
If we can get Clark too, what a phenomenal window! I can’t wait to see some of these signings on the pitch after a month or two of the KM secret sauce.

Rumours still circulating about the Bosnian central defender from Sheffield United too...... Was it Ahmedonosic?
I'm guessing that this might be the last inwards deal for this window.

Clark would be great but I see Southampton are also in for him, I think Town have had a great transfer window but unfortunately Fulham Leicester Southampton etc have all been busy let's hope we will have done enough.

Gosh fair play!
What is the total looking like now? £100m++
And prob another £50m if we stay up? i.e Broja, Castjue, other add-on's for Delap and Omari etc.

Now then, Devil's advocate here... did we or did we not get promoted last season largely on team spirit, player combinations and squad harmony? Are we or are we not in danger of jeopardising one of our biggest strengths with too many changes and too big a squad??
Should we get another centre back and forward in, aren't we then going to be looking at the next weakest links, which would be our fullbacks? Maybe this was the plan all along, or maybe we're getting a bit carried away and don't know when to stop?

I think the close knit, bonded group scenario can only take you so far before real quality is needed to push on further, I think we are definitely at that point to be honest. That said it is a little bit bittersweet for me as those boys have done miracles for us and the likes of Harry Clarke, Massimo Luongo, Cameron Burgess, Nathan Broadhead etc are going to be swallowed up for sure, sadly it's they nature of the beast and if we want to survive needs must.

Yes, good management would point out to the players listed that they can be a huge part of success this season if they find themselves down the pecking order, even without kicking a ball, by keeping that spirit going, helping the new players bed in quicker and assist them in understanding McKenna's ways and desires.
That's my hope at least, as I've said before... exiting times (I'll add nervous times to that!).

KMc was not giving anything away in his press conference on Sky not even about Broja but hopeful of getting a couple in.

Yep agree with that although I would think that Broadhead might be able to push on. Let's not forget that he is an international.
We should remember IMO that by the time we left League 1 we had a squad that was already way too good for that League and didn't need too much tweaking to be successful in the Champ. But it's like a relay race. Some of these players have actually run two legs but now it's time to pass the baton.

I keep mentioning the Fulham loan snd how poor it appears to have been, but when you dig a bit deeper he was hardly given a chance and his minutes on the pitch were very limited, my son reckons he was very good at Southampton.
Yeah think the surprise emergence of Munoz was his problem.

There's yslk about his ACL injury and full rehab recovery. Suggestion being if we stay up znd are compelled yto buy him at £30m that if his ACL is likely to impact in future playing ability that its reflected in that buying price ....

Think maybe we should walk away from this one. It’s already been reported Maresca needs to trim the squad. He’s even ostracized Sterling, even though I’ve never rated Sterling. He’s trying to off load Broja! Walk away!

Who the hell knows what's going on. If there's last minute dealings, perhaps they're trying to knock the price down based on risk, but they knew his history, or insurances such as he'll have to make 15+ appearances or whatnot.
All seems a bit weird, I don't know if there's anyone independent involved during medicals, seems a bit weird if Town's medical team can look at a scan and go "oooo, don't like the look of that, £10m off please".

Well let’s ask the medical expert. Hallam, how do you feel about signing a player with a history of ACL injuries on loan with a mandatory 30-mil buy on clause if we stay up?

He should be ostracized, just like Grealish! Over rated English players!

Not really their fault if they're overrated though is it. Sterling ain't the player he was 5 years ago and has no god given right to be picked in every squad at a club with too many players.

Unbelievable what's happening I never thought we would get him, earlier today the Manager said he trained this morning and was part of his plans for Saturday.

If it’s true I’m really excited about this signing. I’ve watched the full 90 mins of Sunderland’s last two games and he was their stand out player in both games. Their fans will be gutted.
I’m sure I’ve read somewhere today the if this deal goes through we’ll have signed a new player for every position.

David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano are the two main people I pay attention too
Only once I can remember either got wrong was when Jaden Philogene signed for Villa, and its not like the player had much choice in that deal either

I think that was the main idea Charners completely covered all over every position, Kieran knows that if we had stuck with only the same team that came up from the championship we for sure would go straight back down, now we are better positioned to build an even stronger squad plus another two windows for any extras
