agreed although it was a sneeky one nill win, supple pulled off some great saves, and i dont remember us really testing their keeper apart from our goal.

i also noticed today, we looked like we was fighting for balls all over the pitch, (apart from currie) and we looked a side who new we was up against it but still fought for everthing.

Currie was the only disappointment today, i also think Supple is a better keeper than Price. we didn't really test their keeper , so if we can get away with the excuse we haven't got any strikers we did ok. :D

but it was another Currie assist 8) ....i dont care how we get the points just as long as they keep on coming  ...wish Shane would just take a second or two before he throws the ball

i thought Supples distribution was very good, perhaps the others maybe ought to wake up a bit quicker.

Highly unlikely IMO ...especially since we havethe mother of all injuries for this game (7 and counting)....plus , we traditionally are crap against Stoke , at their place.

Nope ...with Naylor out of defence...and nothing up front to battle against a very big Stoke defence Id say we on a hiding to nothing !
...but Im happy to be proved wrong - again ! :D

I'm just glad we picked up 3 points today with Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday winning.

If we get a draw at Stoke I'll be happy.

3 points and we actually played football :D

I cannot believe how well Matt Richards played, in midfield he covered the whole park, used the ball well, showed skill and tackled well

Supple did more than enough today to keep the shirt, he commands his area and his distribution is much better than price.

Darren Currie was sh*t

We are along way from being back, but lets be honest we would all have settled for what we saw today before the game! :D :D

What did we learn today.....

We have a fairly solid defense when its at its best, though we can't cope very well with pace.

Sito is our best player by far, though Naylor is quite excellent as well.

Magilton should be put out to stud, he's finished.

Curry can be bloody terrible.

Bowditch truly is totally crap and playing him is a waste of a player.

Juan and Garvan are superb youngsters who deserve to be starting every match.

Supple is our number 1 goalie, regardless of who starts.

We shouldn't be worrying about relegation, though we're not going anywhere near the play-offs this season.

It's bloody cold in the North Stand.

You could have a good point there Grandaddy. Perhaps the players
are not expecting that type of 'good' distribution, albeit it looked
as if it was Supple making the errors.

as you know i haven't seen a lot of matches but it seems to me that Price tends to hoof it up towards the half- way line. rather than distribute out to the defenders who are pushing forward, which what Supple seems to do.
