Forster has had another setback in his fight for fitness.
Now that is a surprise!

Rip up his contract!! Complete waste of space, he's the wrong side of 30 now and he's only going to get worse. Will save on wages and allow us to get a player who will give us plenty of minutes on the pitch!

Well at the end of the day we cant blame Fozzie. I guess
ITFC knew what his record was like..

I for one feel sorry for the player. If he is genunely injured
theres nothing he can do about it. Onl us fans can feel
disgruntled that the club will be seen as taking a gamble which
did not pay off..

But then again, who knows it might be better news next
week.

You know me Earl, I'm not personaly having a go at Fozzie, I expect he's as frustrated as us......but there must have been a reason why Reading let him go for free and now we're finding out why  ...yes I am upset with Joe as .....in my opioion...we bought in 2, lets shall we say, not very good frontmen and our league position has proved this :? ......I may be old fashioned but I want to see a striker that looks constantly hungry, not waiting for that perfect ball to feet......Lee's our man 8)

I agree. Its obvious Reading would have kept him if he was
that good. Like I said it was ITFC who took the gamble, and
we the fans who will now be feeling disgruntled about it.

We should however feel disgruntled towards ITFC not Fozzie..

Reading only offered him a 1 year contract, but much to his surprise a certain club was stupid enough to offer him a 2 year one . Also ppl criticised Parkin who is our top scorer, when both players were fit and I cant remember one decent performance from Forster, the closest one being when he made his 'return' aginst Crewe, 2 or 3 year ago would have a good signing, a bit of a panic buy IMO

Unfortunately half of the nature of football is taking risks. Royle took a risk knowing that if it paid off, he'd have a good striker for this level, more than capable of getting us some goals. Unfortunately the risk didn't pay off and we're stuck with Forster for the next 18 months.

Although I'm sure he wants to play football, I'm not feeling too sorry for the man, I mean I'm sure we'd all love to be getting paid thousands a week for not being able to work!
