Congrats

Post by alex_sutton » Sun Feb 05, 2006 10:19 am

Felt like breaking my silence on here.

Hurts to say but well done today, best team won - showed us a lesson in attacking and passing, something we haven't done for about 12 years now...

And i'm a Norwich fan if it wasn't obvious

Was surprised with Norwichs performance, it was like we were the Home Side.

Never mind eh  Justice for Portman Road earlier in the season.

Why were you surprised? You can't have seen much of us, we've been playing that bad all season lol. Its all hoofball.

It's all too depressing. The excuse for a bloody manager has ruined a very good squad of players. I've wanted him out for a long time. Although i didnt wanna lose today of course, i might have cause to thank you lot should he walk/get sacked (wont happen - delia loves him)

Lol you make a good point, football fans are fickle, BUT last season was abysmal too - we didn't win until November - and the majority of us did want him out, but we knew it wouldn't happen - we went into that season with a "little norwich" attitude and it showed. And he was partly to blame for that. He CANNOT motivate the team. The only time we've ever looked good under him was in the promotion season, and that was because he got lucky with Hucks.

Ipswich showed us a good a good example of how a squad should be managed, with a mixture of youth (homegrown) and experience. We did not have ONE player from our youth academy in the starting line up. Worthington refuses to play them. He prefers his "good energy" journeymen.

I shouldn't say it but good luck lol, you're more likely to be in the playoffs than us. We blew our chance big time by not replacing the manager back in Sept/October time, and now we are paying for it.

We were signing for Royle to be replaced but look at what he's done, turned us around and picked up Alan Lee for almost nothing.

Norwich were poor today and were very lucky to have 11 on the field at the final whistle - Fleming should have walked for that kung fu kick.

All in all, been a good day, 3 points and no housework to do, now that my son "Is a WIIIIIIIIGHT TOUCH, yes!"

Ahh... so that's why PR is so quiet... no-ones being vocal any more, we're just using sign language!

Pretty Crazy Alex, you've been lurking for MONTHS and you've not said a thing. Most fans would only speak up once their side had won, so kudos to you for breaking your silence. You're a brave man!

I dont mind a Norwich fan on here, whatever next!!!!

Thats the thing ive noticed with Worthington, he seems to me to be the most boring guy in the history of the world. His post match interviews always seem to be monotonous and him saying the same thing over again. I know Royle isnt everyones cup of tea, but he will say something controversial and jump up and down on the sidelines.

Well done Alex. Good of you to admit to that.

My friend's son who is a Norwich fan has called round tonight with the £20 he owes me for the bet we had. Must admit when I made the bet I honestly thought I would lose.
