We currently have no strikers effectively and to get a proven championship playe rin on loan, who if rediscovers his best form (like Lee) will look like a bargain. Its a no lose situation really as if he is crap (or gets injured ) we can return him after a month!
harsh but true

the one thing the guy has is pace, and as long as we dont resort to hoofing it up to him i think he might prove to be a very shrewd signing

wasnt so long ago a lot of people on here were whinging about us signing Alan Lee from cardiff, then after a few games hes the next Paul Mariner!!

As I said about Lee at the time was we only paid 100k so you cant relli go wrong, even if he only say scored 5 goals it would still have been money well spent, its not like we paid £3.5million on an alien is it

Lowe initially made his mark in English football with Port Vale before arriving at Rushden in December 2001, going on to score a total of 52 goals in 98 appearances for them.

He then transferred to Coventry, where he scored one goal (in his first or second appearance) before his career was put on hold by drug charges. He was eventually cleared of any wrongdoing, but it had already brought his career to a standstill.

He was again sought by Brian Talbot at Oxford United, but he was denied a work permit due to lack of activity with the Jamaica national team (and the stigma of the drug charges, I imagine). As a result, he presently plays for Portmore United in Jamaica. He doesn't belong there, and he will be a bargain if he is ever rediscovered. You MAY see him get another shot when Jamaica plays England in June. You may also see Fuller and Marlon King in that game, as both represent Jamaica internationally.
Onandi used to be a good player! He out of prison now ? Didnt he go down for possesion of cocaine ?
No thankyou...
Him and Proudlock would run riot!

I'm a lillte wary of Fuller mainly be4cause he hasn't been playing regular football since November so fitness may be in question. Knowing our luck he will get injured like the rest of our strikefroce. But hopefully for our sakes this won't be thecase and Fuller will be like Alan Lee and score goals

Hallam, I dont doubt your concerns, but seriously the likes of
Billy Clarke and the toddlers albeit they have abilities will be
IMHO not be effective alone against the Wolves defence. I am looking
at on game at a time at the moment, Yes Have Billy or Mini Mac up
front but we also need someone of Fuller stature. I am hopeful that
for whatever reason he is joining us on loan he will prove himself
for the better of his career and/or ITFC.

Bottom line is I dont think we have a choice this weekend, despite
what we feel about our own talent, we will have to wait and see

:) I don't think he ever was in prison. He was cleared of the charges. Supposedly, to help a friend, he had agreed to pick up an internationally shipped package for someone. Turns out the package contained cocaine (actually flour, because it had been intercepted and the cocaine was removed before Onandi picked it up). Onandi says he knew nothing about it. It is what it is. Only the one above knows.
