What's been going on?

Post by uefacup81 » Fri Feb 17, 2006 1:27 pm

Hi y'all!
Just got back from a few days in Germany and I see there's been a wee bit going on on the football side of things. There seems to be a load of posts, so would anyone be kind enough as to give me a quick rundown of the events since sunday?

Many thanks!

Well... the interview...

I went on tuesday afternoon to scout it out for wednesday...

Me: Ist Herr Krüger morgen hier?
Them: Err... Herr Krüger?
Me: Ja, ich habe morgen ein Termin mit Herr Krüger um 16 Uhr
Them: Er arbeitet nicht mehr hier!

In other words... I didn't have an interview... I left my references and personal statement with them for the new manager to peruse, and I'll follow up by e-mail

Oh... don't get me started on 'German Efficiency'. We managed to check in at Stansted as soon as we got there... 3 hours before our flight.

However, we got to Tegel with the same timescale, only to discover that they follow the traditions and will only open check-in's the obligatory 2 hours prior to the flight... and then have the shittiest excuse for a duty-free!

and don't get me started on Mr. Aryan Superman Manager in the Burger King!!!

Well to be fair Uefa if you're gonna turn up at any airport other than Tel Aviv 3 hours before a flight then you might as well have come the night before
