Grand National

A place to chat about anything thats not football related. Most of the threads in here are completely pointless which is why people keep coming back and back. As the forum title suggests, feel free to make any post you want on any subject you wish. It also has Adult jokes (so be warned) which is the other reason people keep coming back.

I have no idea what that means  . I got a free bet and odds looked good and it's tipped to win so thought I would stick money on it.

you've got to be very lucky to get the winner at the Grand National Lucy, I think your horse pulled up early aye.
I chose 2nd and 3rd but I don't bet on that race. if I had, my bet would have been 2 reverse forecasts,

1st MONBEG DUDE to beat 2nd BALTHAZAR KING. or visa versa.
and
1st MONBEG DUDE to beat 2nd DOUBLE SEVEN. or visa versa.

and these 3 to finish 1st . 2nd and 3rd. in any order.
MONBEG DUDE..(19)..BALTHAZAR KING..(9)..DOUBLE SEVEN (14)

I would have been close but still lose. I think that MONBEG DUDE is still running :?

that was one of the horses to watch, but Aintree is a step to far for a true race, I stick to Cheltenham,

next year get your fiver on MONBEG DUDE, this year was to soon to bet on it.

I picked the horses that came 4th and 5th and won a massive £6.25

Always worth putting money on a fair few in the national, the next horse on my list to stick a quid on was Pineau De Re, c'est la vie.

Saturday was the first time I'd not had a bet on the Grand National for many years. It was probably a good decision because I'd never have picked out the winner, although to be fair a lot of members at the Golf Club did on the back of a local tip.
