Who said that?

A place to chat about anything thats not football related. Most of the threads in here are completely pointless which is why people keep coming back and back. As the forum title suggests, feel free to make any post you want on any subject you wish. It also has Adult jokes (so be warned) which is the other reason people keep coming back.

This quote is famous in my previous Leicestershire neck of the woods and starts .....

"Anybody who can do anything in Leicester other than knit a jumper has got to be a genius..(and ends)....If he’d been English or Swedish, he’d have walked the England job."

I do know the answer but won’t spoil it for others...

Ok...I think it’s Cloughie speaking about Martin O’Neil when he was manager of Leicester City.

Sticking with the football theme, assuming Brian Clough is correct.

Do you mean Bonaparte, that was (going to be) my response. Got it's as* kicked on a Belgian battlefield, seems an adequate response.

Could be any supporter of this club side of the last 15 years, hell we'd ascertain more knowledge than Einstein, Plato and any Mastermind champion together given the parameters.

Sounds like one of those if at first you don't succeed scenarios. Is this soccer themed ? f*ck I don't know, try Alf Ramsey before he became as accomplished as he did.
