Re: Ipswich Town vs Shrewsbury Town Preview & Matchday Thread
What's the f**king use but was it a penalty guess we'll find when all's said and done. Was kind of hoping for three points from this but to be a goal behind after nearly an hours play. Not only that reaction seems to be we're not creating much by way of opportunity. Would you believe league indicates we'll be down to eighth position if scores remain as they are. Somebody needs to get their act together out there, still ample time to turn it around but how much do the players really want it ?

Mick Mills saying go 4-4-2. Is our system too one-dimensional and teams just know how to set up against it? All good sides can change their systems when needed. How about ITFC?

I must admit I’m surprised Judge is still on the pitch, clearly Lambert sees something in him that by bypasses most. That said he’ll probably score an equaliser in a mo.

Re: Ipswich Town vs Shrewsbury Town Preview & Matchday Thread
You got a team that's having twice as much possession and chances created then the opposition (playing at home) and still can't find a way through.
Took a view on TWTD but it's a topic every 30 seconds on there during a game thread even more so if we're losing. General consensus seems we're ineffective and lacking ideas. Had chances to score but too often waste them. Doesn't look too promising in the time remaining but you always hold out for something.
Yes a goal - it took an own goal to score. Didn't recognize the scorer, realized it were one of the opposition put it in their own goal. Come on let's do this and win.

It takes an intelligent manager to identify what changes are required during a game and then utilise the right players on the bench to implement the change. Unfortunately Paul Lambert has never been good at this which probably explains why his career has drifted from Premier League to League One.

Yes but Lambert will be pleased with a point and view it as a "result".
Just seeing out the closing moments. 1 point is unsatisfactory against teams of this nature particularly with a home advantage. Injuries or not we had players out there today who should have done better and have had to rely on an opposing player to get a point for us.
