Blast
Royal - Royal Brittania - brittania stadium - stoke
Track
Is it Stoke?
BTW - all three clues are not clues aren’t they? A red-herring here and there?

Good links with the clues btw, and i guess all three words could loosely be applied to the actual team. The first two for their history, but it might be going underground to guess the third link.

I'm still trying to figure out how
relates to Portman Road? This is proving to be much more difficult than I had envisioned.jolly.amused.intro

One go at this but maybe somewhere in London. Is it Arsenal I don't know.
#1 Gunners, Cannon fire
#2 Isn't there a Royal Arsenal somewhere in London
#3 Subway, they got a tube station there obviously
Sneak another guess at Crystal Palace if you allow it

Spot on with Arsenal and the clues St Jude. As well as Dial Square and Woolwich Arsenal, they were also named Royal Arsenal for a short period in history. Arsenal is also the name of a tube station.saint jude wrote: ↑Sat Dec 05, 2020 5:55 pmOne go at this but maybe somewhere in London. Is it Arsenal I don't know.

Well done Saint! Funnily enough, Arsenal was my first choice, but 'track' was throwing me off. I still don't get jolly.amused.intro for Portman Road. Oh well.

Jolly. Amused. Intro are the actual 3 words which come up when you search Ipswich Town FC. All my other clues i have found by searching the 3m squares across the pitch until i find an appropriate link.
The 3 words just made me smile, coming off the back of what was not a jolly amusing intro against Shrewsbury.

One go at this and let it rest. The results that came out for chosen club are so enigmatic the FBI and Interpol couldn't fit the pieces together. Easy this end I know what the answer is.
Ideas, Hours, Bath
If you can get that take a gold star. No idea as to how they put it together.

Do any of the words give a clue which relates to the club in question?saint jude wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 1:40 amOne go at this and let it rest. The results that came out for chosen club are so enigmatic the FBI and Interpol couldn't fit the pieces together. Easy this end I know what the answer is.

Re: What three words represent this football club?
Yes particularly the last. Forget Ideas, it's got no semblance on the club involved, Hours is what it would take to get there from Portman Road.AzzurroMark wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 4:28 pmDo any of the words give a clue which relates to the club in question?saint jude wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 1:40 amOne go at this and let it rest. As for the other, it's not about water or cleaning. There's a place in the UK near to the team in question that doesn't have a professional "football" team, help that helped you out.

Is the city of Bath the link? If so i will guess at the Gas, a.k.a Bristol Rovers!

Re: What three words represent this football club?
Yes it is but you got to travel a strip of water to reach the answer.
Not Bristol Rovers, think Tom Jones, Manic Street Preachers, Shaking Stevens. The latter in particular. Can't add anymore to it, the answer has essentially presented itself.

Azzuromark wins hardest competition ever brought to TB.com.
It’s either the hardest ever quiz, or it’s a “root out the thick bstds” exercise!

saves.lasted.slowly
I know the answer of course, but here's my interpretation:
Saves-obviously a football ground.
Lasted-maybe a team that has lasted the test of time.
Slowly-a team that has slowly progressed.

Can’t be Brighton. They’re EPL.
What about Brentford with a couple of their players apparently worth £478M each!

Re: What three words represent this football club?
I know.
It appears in my first post about "what three words" in the ITFC section.
While rhis club would appear in the Southern section of any regionalised cup draw, it is actually further north that Ipswich.
